Salvation is a gift, but eternal salvation can only be earned through obedience.
We have only God's grace as a free gift of salvation placed within our bodies still with only the spirit of man that can be clearly understood in 1 Corinthians 2:11. -- Read all 16 verses-- What man teaches not is that all were saved before the foundations of this world as written in 2 Timothy 1:9 -- but none none on earth ever knew until Christ appeared as our Saviour Jesus Christ who abolished death while also leaving all believers an example to follow making them of His body being the only true church of God with no buildings involved while also earning eternal salvation through full obedience. Hebrews 5:9 In other words, if its not written by Christ, The Word and author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him, its wrong just as Christmas, Easter and all man holidays worldwide that were not written by The Word (John 1:1) as a commandment because we all are to only live by every word of God. Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4, Luke 4:4 ---- May God teach you truth as He has been teaching me for 24 years with these past six one on one with no association with the religions of man nor beliefs anywhere on this planet --- Just The Word with God's Spirit earned through Proverbs 2:4-6, 3:4-6, with Proverbs 1:22-32 being a warning from God to all believers on earth with the rewards of a sluggard in Proverbs 6:4-6. May God be with you in this misled world of darkness.
Now I can agree with most of what you wrote! Awesome! Really the only disagreement I have with you is partly about the holidays and the title. We cannot "earn eternal salvation" We all at one time or another disobyed God, therefore we are unworthy......period. Only Christ could and did Earn Eternal Salvation and being the Sacrificial Lamb, He and only He earned it for us. The holidays you mention, the way we as a whole celebrate it is wrong, that I will completely agree. But is it wrong to celebrate them in the true spirit .......no. Christ's Birth was a glorious occassion even the Angels Rejoiced the occassion. Easter celebrating Jesus' conquering death and sin, another reason to rejoice! Yet it is turned into the easter bunny and Santa Claus and that is wrong! So I do partly agree with you on this point. There is a lot to be discussed with 1Corinthians 2:10-16. Those are truly awesome scripture.
