Joy doesn't wait around for an absence of bad in the world before it can continue to go on being joy.God didn't save the world, but He saved us out of the world.Joy isn't the result of good circumstances, but joy has to do with being so rich outside of the world that we don't need the good circumstances of the world. If we're not joyful,it's because we're trying to get joy out of a joyless world, yet joy is only found outside of the world.,but if we want to continue to be miserable over a world which no longer belongs to us,it's no skin off God's nose. If joy is only found in that which can never perish, then how can we blame our depression on the things which do perish? God never tells us to rejoice in the things which we get depressed over, but He tells us to rejoice in the one who saved us from the very things we're depressed about.
If corruption can"t produce joy, then how can it take it away? God wouldn't tell us that we could rejoice always if there was anything down here of ours to be depressed about. We can rejoice always because it's always and only found in the one who will never leave us or forsake us.HE ALONE IS OUR JOY! (philippians 4:4).
