If all our good is evil,then we've failed before we even try.Our good works can"t produce the peace and joy we seek. Peace and joy are fruits of the Spirit.they're a production of God. If we could buy the comfort we seek in exchange for all our efforts,then who needs the Holy Spirit? We keep trying to out smart God,but who are the dummies for thinking we could buy freedom by slaving for it? Thank God we can always find rest from all our struggles in His one work upon the cross.
