The Worlds Bible Is Self Serving…Holy Bible is of TRUTH

Last night while watching television we came across this program that was discussing the bible and what struck me in this conversation with Rick Warren and Piers Morgan as they discussed the times we are in and how the bible has stayed the same it has not changed threw the years nor has it wavered to a peas or give justification for what we do. That Mr. Morgan asked Rick Warren if the bible should be rewritten to add in the exception of Gay Marriage.  While Rick Warren said he believed the bible to be of truth he didn’t stand up as a servant of God to make it clear to Mr. Morgan and the viewers that the very foundation God has given us in the bible wasn’t to be changed just to serve anothers sin.

If we go and change the bible each time significant changes happen in the world that go against what the bible states we would be changing the bible each day because in this day and time most of what is going on in the world is of sin and goes against what Gods word states.  If the bible was than changed how would we ever be held accountable for our own actions? How would be ever be worthy of entering the Kingdom? How would are relationship with God we real? It wouldn’t be real because we would not be holding ourselves accountable for our own sins.  Our relationship with God would be based on our own desires and not of Gods desires for us.

There is an order to God’s work. There is an order to being in God’s family. It isn’t automatic. Being born in this world does not guarantee the new birth. We need God’s Law to show us our sin….and the Holy Spirit to convict us of our sin. (see John 16:8) And we need the good news of the Gospel to bring us forgiveness and a relationship with the Lord through faith. Once that is in place, we get to spend the rest of our life living for Him as we seek daily to “find out what pleases the Lord.” (Eph. 5:10) The Holy Spirit produces that process of sanctification and those holy desires in the life of every Christian who is grateful to be in the family of God.

When you are living your life for God it is just that. Excepting that he is in control and we must believe and have faith in him no matter what that he will provide and get us through each trail or tribulation we encounter.  For each trail we encounter is a lesson for us to learn from.  When you are dealing with your spouse, children, friends, co-workers aren’t you besides them telling you that they love you and care expecting the actions from them to follow? yes you are because even though we want to hear it actions speak louder than words.  Anyone can give lip service.  It is know different with God.  We must seek him and develop our own personal relationship and be intentional in all that we do to honor him.

Changing the bible might make this world a better place in some peoples eyes but I believe the idea of it would be serving the enemy.  If we changed the bible to except what is going on in the world today are you going to grant the acceptance of homosexuality, Abortion,Drinking and Driving, Murders, Rape, Drugs, abuse? If even one of these are exceptable to you than who are you serving and what bible are you reading that condones this?  It is  the Holy Bible which speaks truth that shows us what God expects of his children and what will give honor and glory to him.

When someone goes against you how does it make you feel? stop and realize that yes Jesus died for OUR sins but that does not give an open door to knowingly sin. We are held accountable and we will all stand before God and either he will open his door to his kingdom or be sent to hell.  In the end I don’t want the bible ever changed cause I seek Gods truth not the Worlds idea of truth.  I want to be held accountable and I wish to seek the kingdom of God and follow the laws and rules put before us in the bible.  God is of love and his love is like know other it doesn’t waiver when you are living you life intentionally for him.  However there is the wrath of God and your preacher can continue to fill your minds with one side and you can continue to live for self and go against God and he will turn his back on you it doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you but you have turned your back on him and he will not make you long for him he wants us to seek him.

Nothing this world has to offer….and I mean nothing….can touch that reality and the benefits that come from belonging to your Creator….as compared to living as though He didn’t create you, and He didn’t die on the cross for your sins. Those two different ways to live are at opposite ends of the spectrum….and they provide completely opposite results which extend throughout eternity.

Galatians 3:24

24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith

"If we go and change the bible each time significant changes happen in the world that go against what the bible states we would be changing the bible each day because in this day and time most of what is going on in the world is of sin and goes against what Gods word states.  If the bible was than changed how would we ever be held accountable for our own actions? How would be ever be worthy of entering the Kingdom? How would are relationship with God we real? It wouldn’t be real because we would not be holding ourselves accountable for our own sins.  Our relationship with God would be based on our own desires and not of Gods desires for us." Quote from you.

Galations 3:23-25 But BEFORE faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster."

Your question: If the Bible would be change how would we ever be held accountable for our actions?

My answer: Thank God for Jesus! Christ paid for my actions once and for all! It's called forgiveness. Hebrews 9:12 "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us". The Law was to show us, that of our own abilities we can never ever stand before God pure. The Law was fulfilled IN Christ. If I place myself back under the Law, then I would not be righteous. If I place myself IN Christ then he fulfilled the Law for me. I am not worthy except through Christ.......period. The Mosiac Law was impossible for everyone except Jesus to fulfill. Look at every Old Testament figure David major sin, Soloman major sin everyone major sin. Abraham major sin. Moses major sin.......etc.

Question: How would we ever be worthy of entering the Kingdom?

My Answer: We're not. Not you, not me, not anyone! Have you ever went over the speed limit, even by one mph? Under the Mosaic law, you've sinned and not worthy. Oh you mean major sins? A sin is disobediance any sin and disqualifies you. No, I'm not worthy! Only by accepting Jesus' sacrifice is my spirit made righteous and only in Christ........period. We can't ever be worthy, only through Our Savior we are made worthy. What you are describing is earning our salvation.........we can't!!!! This is what Galations is talking about. The law was our schoolmaster ..........to teach us that we cannot ever earn salvation. Only through Christ period. That is the Good News!

Now for the crux of your post, I don't need the Bible to show me my sins, my conscience does that. All that changing the Bible does is show that as prophesied in the latter days good is shown as bad and bad as good. Those who do change it God will judge as He sees fit. One last point, it's already been changed a million times in translation. John 16:9 "Of sin, because they believe not on me;" When we believe on Jesus, we know that we cannot earn salvation, He has earned it for us. In Judgement the only question will be, Did we accept Jesus' atonement for the sins of the whole world. If the answer is yes, then we are saved. If the answer is no then we are judged by our works........which none (except Jesus) can stand before God and be blameless.
