Deuteronomy 10:12; And now, Isreal what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
The Lord has placed a message of enoucouragement upon my heart for you my brethren. The Lord has called us as His followers, to put Him first and foremost in our lives, and to love Him with our whole hearts, minds, and souls.
The Lord is calling us of the household of faith to surrender to His call this day. We must surrender to the perfect will of our Lord, and put Him first and foremost in our lives. The Lord Jesus tells us in Matthew 19:29; And everyone that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my name's sake shall receive an hundredfold, and shalt inherit eternal life. We are called as followers of Jesus to forsake all for Him. It is up to us as followers of the Lord Jesus to be examples to all men of how great a salvation we have, by forsaking all for our Lord, who gave His life for us, that we might have eternal life with Him.
The Lord gave everything for us, is it not only fitting that we do the same for Him? It is time for us as followers of Jesus to trust in Him for our provision. The Lord will provide for all of our needs according to His riches in glory. Seek Him my brethren. Seek Him with your whole hearts, minds, and souls. For the time is coming when the Bridegroom will come for His bride. the marriage supper of the Lamb is fast approaching. Will you be ready? Are you a chaste virgin without spot or wrinkle, ready for her husband? The Lord is calling us to prepare our hearts for His soon return. Give all that you have for that pearl of great price. Matthew 13:46 states; Who, when he found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. The Lord Jesus is calling us to sell all that we have and purchase gold tried in the fire, incorruptible, and follow Him. Will you give all that you have for that pearl of great price which is your salvation in and through the Lord Jesus Christ?
The rich young ruler went away from the Lord very sad, because even though he had kept the commandments from his youth, he lacked one thing, and that was his love of the world, and his worldly possessions. Mark 10:21 states; Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, one thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give it to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up thy cross and follow me. Lay up treasure in heaven my brethren, where moth and rust cannot destroy. Serve the Lord and Him only while it is still daytime, for the time comes when the night will fall, and none shall be saved. The Lord is calling us as His followers to forsake all and follow Him. Will you heed the words of the Lord, or will you go away saddened as the rich young ruler did?
My brethren, the Lord is calling us of the household of faith to be good stewards of that which He has given us in these last days. Are you being a wise steward with the talents that the Lord has given you? Matthew 25:14-30 states; For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto him his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh and reconeth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter into the joy of thy lord. He that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliverdst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it to him which hath ten talents. For unto everyone that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
I want to encourage you my brethren to trust in the Lord. He is calling us to be wise stewards with that which He has given to us in these last days. We must be like the good and faithful servants who brought about a return on their Lord's investment. We must preach the good news of the Gospel to every creature. We must be a witness and a testimony to the lost. We must pray fervently, and read and study God's holy word. Be encouraged my brethren, for the Lord Jesus is returning soon. Prepare your hearts for the coming of our Lord Jesus, for He is returning the triumphant King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is going forth conquering and to conquer. The Lord is calling all of us who are of the household of faith to take up our cross and follow Him. Be encouraged my brethren for the Lord loves us, and gave His all for us. Can we not do the same for Him? Purchase from Him gold tried in the fire that you may be rich. Revelation 3:18 states; I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and annoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
