Let's take a look at the positive teachings of Jesus. (Mark 5:19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.) (Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.) (John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord and Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.)
The first scripture was the man with the 2000 devils, the second was the woman with the bleeding and thirdly the adulteress. In each of these cases Jesus showed both compassion and mercy. When Jesus healed or cast out demons, there was not a thirty minute speech of condemnation. There were simple words such as go and sin no more. Jesus had the sharpest words for the leaders of the day. We should be led by Jesus' life. A life of perfect faith never doubting The Father. Where in the Word is Jesus focused on himself not sinning, nowhere. He is tempted but always responded without stress or doubt. Instead Jesus focuses on sinners healing them, feeding them, and bestowing mercy on them. This is how we should be reaching out to sinners by healing, feeding and mercy. Indeed, in John 14:12 Jesus says"I tell you the truth, whoever believes in me will do the same things that I do. Those who believe will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father"
Our goals as believers should be perfect faith, to trust in God in all things through Jesus' Finished Work. God's Promises are for now: prosperity, health and all good things come from God. He is Our Proctector and Provider. I challenge all of us to let the Holy Spirit use us to heal, feed and be merciful to all people. This is how we bring others to accept Jesus, not by bullying and messages of condemnation. Let us perfect faith in ourselves so we can allow ourselves to be used to heal, cast out demons and reap a huge harvest In and Through Jesus.
