Who Gives Kudos:

Sunday School - October 21, 2012

Affirmation: I am not designed to drift - I am designed for destiny.

God loves you so much, and wants to release in you the ability to walk in the fullness of your destiny, to see the impossible become possible at every crossroad, to walk in the fullness of His manifest presence so that Jesus Christ will get the glory! - Keith Miller

"If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God." - 1 Peter 4:11

Our speech should be graced with God's Spirit. We are to speak as the oracles of God. We should ask the Lord to fill us with His grace so we are able to represent Him well in our speech. God desires us to make the most of every occasion. - John Belt

Godly people are called to bold, daring, fear-overcoming, breathtaking and impossible actions in order to accomplish the vision God has given to them. - Barbara Yoder

As we feel the many valid claims upon our time and energies, but at the same time, intensely desire to come into all that the Lord is revealing to us, we are willing to pay the price by overcoming all that is less than His best, and rise into the destiny He has place in us. - Wade Taylor

Affirmation: I realize that I am put here to do the will of God on earth as it is in Heaven.

When we allow sickness, torment, and poverty to be thought of as the God-ordained tools He uses to make us more like Jesus, we have participated in a very shameful act. To do so one must completely disregard the life of Christ and the purpose of the cross. - Bill Johnson

The Christian must bear the burden of a brother. He must suffer and endure the brother. It is only when he is a burden that another person is really a brother and not merely an object to be manipulated. The burden of men was so heavy for God Himself that He had to endure the Cross. - Dietrich Bonhoeffer

"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2

When God gives us less than we desire, it is not because He is teaching us poverty; He is teaching us thankfulness. - Francis Frangipane

Those who carry the attitude of "this is mine; that is yours' can have no place in heaven, and they cannot be anywhere because heaven is lost to them. - William Law

Affirmation: I mind the things of the spirit and do not walk after the flesh.

God loves you, but it is your responsibility to believe what the Bible says so the Holy Spirit can lead you. You have to listen to what God says and do it. - Norvel Hayes

Passion for Jesus is the fruit of recognizing His dedication to us. We will walk in a life of commitment to Him because He is committed to us. - Mike Bickle

Jesus says, "And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." (Mat. 6:13)

This does not mean that God might steer us toward temptation against our wills. It means that we are to ask God for wisdom to stop making bad decisions so we won't put ourselves into situations that will cause us to compromise our relationship with Him. - Myles Munroe

You cannot retire too much from the mindless chatter of the world. You don't need much time to tell God that you love Him! Lift your heart to Him. Worship Him in the depths of your spirit. - Francois Fenelon
