"Seek Ye The Lord While He May Be Found"

Today I would like to write about what the Lord has placed upon my heart. As I was waiting upon the Lord he placed upon my heart the need for all of us to "seek the Him while He may be found." It is of the uttmost importance that we pray and seek the face of the Lord. We must surrender our minds and our hearts to Him now. We must pray and ask Him to direct our paths in this life, so that His will may be done in and through us. I know that this may be difficult sometimes as we are often times overwhelmed in our lives with all of the things that come our way. I have found that by starting out my day in prayer and reading the word of the Lord helps me to stay focused on Him. It is easy to be distracted and unfocused when we do not put Jesus first in our day. The enemy attacks our minds and his fiery darts pierce our hearts. I therefore want to encourage you to put Him first in all that you do, by praying and reading His word.

Paul the apostle exorts us to put on the full armour of God. By doing this the fiery darts of the wicked one are quenched. By putting on this armour, we are equipped to do spiritual battle throughout the day. This battle may be any number of things that have to do with conquering the sins of the flesh in our lives. These sins so easilly beset us, and take away our joy. We must therefore seek the Lord first in all that we do, and allow the Lord to have the first fruits of our lives. Just like giving Him the tithes and offerings of our finances, we must give Him the firstfruits of our lives. This is our reasonable sacrifice, and is the least we can do for our Lord.

The times in which we live are such that we must make prayer and the study of God's word a constant in our lives. We must seek the Lord while He may be found, for there is coming a time when those who are not seeking Him will not find Him even though they may try. The Lord is looking for men and women who will seek Him with their whole hearts, minds, and souls. He is looking for those individuals who will put Him first in their lives with no reservations. I encourage those of you who are reading this article to surrender to God. Give Him the firstfruits of your lives now before it is too late. Do not be lead astray by the enemy who wants you to believe that the Lord is fine with the "leftovers" of our lives. He is not satisfied with this. He is looking for  a people who will call on His name and walk after His commandments. It is imperative that we fall on our faces before the Lord in obedience to His word and not walk after the lusts of the flesh. How are we to walk in obedience you ask? Read His holy word, and fall on your faces before the Lord in repentance, humilty, and reverence, thus presenting your bodies a living sacrifice unto the Lord. This is again our reasonable service unto the Lord.

Above all else, i want to encourage you my brethren to sek ye first the kingdom of the Lord, and all of these things will be added unto you. The Lord will gird up your hearts, minds, and souls and He will give you the desires of your hearts. Put all of your trust in Him for He surely loves you. He paid for our sins on the cross of Calvary and all we must do is ask forgiveness for our sins and the Lord Jesus will come into our hearts and bring about newness of life. The Holy Spirit is knocking at the doors of our hearts. Will we listen and open our hearts to Him? God forbid we do not. We must allow the Lord Jesus to come into our hearts and give us that which He has for us, which is eternal life in and through Him.The Lord is coming back soon. Will we be ready for His glorious coming? Will we be seeking His face with our whole hearts? Will we give Him the first fruits of our lives? Please seek the Lord while He may be found. Ask the Lord Jesus into your hearts and repent of all sins. The time is fast approaching when the door will be shut, and no man will be able to once again open it. "Seek ye the Lord while He may be found."
