Well, being my first blog, I hope this bold type doesnt mean that Im shouting! I am completely new to blogging and I am quite excited about joining in at this site being a believer. I live in Wales, a very beautiful part of the UK. I have been a believer for around 14 years, though it really doesnt seem like a fraction of that time. There is always so much to do being part of an active church, and time passes by so quickly. I am married with a fabulous son and daughter, both grown now but still at home. Oh and a dog, dont forget the dog! I am the only believer in my family at the moment, which makes leading a fully rounded Christian life quite difficult, as I am quite limited with discussing my faith, and the things that I get excited about just doesnt do it for them! I feel they are getting there, that God is doing a work in them, and that through prayer and my witness of Christian love in action (as poor as it is) that they will come to a full knowledge of the Lord. Wales is famous for the revival in 1904 and it is my heart's desire that we will see it again in my time and that my loved ones, indeed that the nation will be saved. There are many social problems in Wales with the very high unemployment here, so apathy is quite widespread. But I truly believe that God will do a good work and turn things around before He comes to judge us. There seems to be so much to say and Im not even sure that this is how blogs start out but, hey, Im sure it will get more interesting as time goes on. One of the reasons I joined a blog site is to promote my home business of internet selling. I am a keen sewing machinist, even though my career is Nursing but thats a whole blog in itself. Finding myself at home for the first time in around 35 years, I find I can express myself more through my craft. Often I will create items with a Christian theme as God is our first love. However, I do get distracted occasionally and have to pull myself up. I am keen, as Im sure most of the people who read this blog are , to carry out God's will. Whatever it is, whatever road He takes me down, whatever journey He has prepared for me, Im willing. Please Lord make it plain what your purpose is for my life. I have previously done all my selling on ebay but have recently set up a store on ecrater. The web address is Take a look if you like! I will be making and listing more Christian items over time. I hope to make the transition to selling only items with a Christian message soon. Praying for guidance on that. Its been nice spending time here! If anyone has advice regarding this blog or future blogs, I am more than happy to listen
