Life Lessons Sunday

Dearly Loved Friends-
Today’s topic is Hypocrisy. It’s a hard topic, I know, but the more we know, the more we don’t know. So, let get started on this Blessed Sunday!
Hypocrisy is a term that used pretty loosely these days. So let me explain what it really is: its means the hypocritical person is “double minded in all his ways” (James 1:8) or two-faced. You know it’s not that hard to define is it? At one time in my life, although I really don’t wanna say this, I was a hypocrite. I professed a faith in God, but didn’t believe that He was strong enough to deliver me from the addictions I battled and the problems I was having. That my friend is hypocrisy!
If you say you Love and Believe in Jesus, but yet you either don’t believe he can heal or deliver you or what if you say you love God, but act contrary to his Word. That my friends is called SIN. It’s missing the mark! What if we do things that are contrary to God's word? What if we become a stumbling block to other Christians or een to pre-christians? Again I'm going to be as blunt and forward as possible here: IT IS SIN!
Sin and hypocrisy are the same thing! Do not call yourself a Christian if you are not willing to walk the walk! Don’t just talk the talk, really live it out! Tear down the walls and live out your faith!
In the song by For King and Country called “Proof of your Love” it says let our lives be the proof that Jesus has indeed risen from the dead and that we should “Let my life be the proof of your love. The way you lived, the way you died and love’s sacrifice”
Maybe we should concentrate on own lives and quit picking on other people!
And by the way, my friends do not point fingers, because that’s just not cool, okay? If you see someone not living or acting like a Christian, take them aside and speak words of love and grace to them, you know Jesus died for everyone, not just us! God provides mercy and grace for us and we should pass it on to those who need it.
In the Bible it says that if you see someone who has fallen, help them up. That’s not what I’m asking you do, it’s what God commands us to do!
Remember, “Judge not that ye be not judged”
Well that’s all for today my friends. Please feel free to e-mail me at:, I’m so looking forward to reading your e-mails!
Have a Blessed Sunday!! Keep your eyes on JESUS and LOOK UP FOR YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWS NIGH!
In His Great Love,
Alex (Jer. 29:11)

I think Christians and non-Christians alike are always watching us, waiting for those opportunities to prove our character to pop up, so they can say...well, well, well, what will Jesus' follower do?
