Paul a False Apostle

                      Paul  the  FALSE APOSTLE
Recently a friend asked me what I thought of so many people calling themselves apostles. Not being one to accept anything, I decided to search the Bible, just to get a “TAKE” on what is required to qualify as an Apostle. Most followers of Jesus are aware that he had many disciples; but he only chose 12 to be Apostles.
One of the 12 betrayed Him as we all know and his position was filled by another.
THE MAN THAT BETRAYED JESUS WAS AN APOSTLE So we can conclude that being an apostle does not make you SPECIAL
The Book of Acts Chapter 1 verse 20 "Therefore, someone must be added to our number to serve with us as a witness that Jesus came back to life.
21 He must be one of the men who accompanied Jesus with us the entire time that the Lord Jesus was among us. 22 This person must have been with us from the time that John was baptizing
people to the day that Jesus was taken from us."
23 The disciples determined that two men were qualified. These men were Joseph and Matthias.
Verses 21 and 22 clearly stipulates the requirements or prerequisites needed
Just to be nominated to be an Apostle.
We can now conclude that everyone that claims to be an Apostle nowadays, definitely doesn’t come anywhere close.
Matter of fact if it were in my power to do so, I would seriously bring a charge against these self appointed apostles.
The obvious question to be asked is who or what gave these impersonators the impression that they could be Apostles.
To answer that we have to blame the greatest” WANNABE” apostle of them all.
Paul in Ephesians 4 v 8... That is why the Scriptures say,
“When He Ascended To The Heights,
He Led A Crowd Of Captive
And Gave Gifts To His People.
9Notice that it says “he ascended.” This clearly means that Christ also descended to our lowly world.
11Now These Are The Gifts Christ Gave To The Church: The Apostles, The Prophets, The evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
.                   (Quite the contrary to what Jesus said)
"But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. John 14v26
                                           Here's the thing..

The closest that Scholars could come is Psalms 68 verse 18
18When you climbed the high mountain,
you took prisoners with you and WERE GIVEN GIFTS.
Your enemies didn't want you to live there, but they gave you gifts.
The Psalmist is actually referring to God the Father. God was receiving Gifts not Giving.
He does it again in 1cor 2v9 he quotes Isaiah 64 v 4
Scriptures mean when they say,
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared
for those who love him.”
Here is the real quote from the Book of Isaiah.
For since the world began,
no ear has heard
and no eye has seen a God like you,
who works for those who wait for him!
Remember Judas was also an apostle, yet he betrayed our Lord. So being an apostle does not make you any better.
1Cor 12/28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of
miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those
with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.

Matthew 23 1Then Jesus said to the CROWDS and to his disciples(APOSTLES)8“Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters.

9And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your spiritual Father.
10And don’t let anyone call you ‘Teacher,’ for you have only one teacher, the Messiah.
11The greatest among you must be a servant.

12But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

Paul in claims in Eph.1[10] that God: At the Right Time He (God) Will Bring Everything Together under the Authority of Christ--Everything In Heaven And On Earth.

Jesus Our Redeemer after paying the price on the cross says in Matthew 28[18]

I Have Been Given All Authority In Heaven And On Earth.

Paul an Apostle of JESUS? I think NOT.
In his eagerness to convince the believers in Ephesus that he was an apostle,he claims that Jesus hands out gifts, one of them being apostles. We will see later that the Ephesians are not buying into it.
Taking into account the “Terms and Conditions Apply” to be met in Acts 1 verses 21 and 22 Paul is a NON STARTER.
He makes claims to have met Jesus in a vision of some sort.
Even this event is FLAWED; Luke the writer of The Book of Acts could not get this event right as described below.
Taking a look at Lukes covering of Pauls so called “encounter” with Jesus on the road to Damascus in Acts 9 and Acts 22.
"I am Jesus," the Lord answered. "I am the one you are so cruel to. 6Now get up and go into the city, where you will be told what to do."
7The men with Saul stood there speechless. They had heard the voice, but they had not seen anyone.
The Lord replied, "I am Jesus from Nazareth! I am the one you are so cruel to
9The men who were traveling with me saw the light, but did not hear the voice.

In Acts 9 Luke is giving us his version of the incident. In Acts 22 Luke is quoting Pauls as he recounts the experience yet one contradicts the other.
Luke is saying that the men “HEARD THE VOICE AND SAW NOBODY”
Paul is saying the men "SAW THE LIGHT BUT HEARD NO VOICE”
How much of Lukes reporting are we to believe?
The most confusing aspect about this so called encounter with Jesus, is that Paul claims to have met with OUR LORD JESUS and never “Lets Jesus get one word in edgewise”
He NEVER quotes any of Jesus teachings.

Yet the instructions by Jesus to the REAL APOSTLES was “ Teaching Them To Obey Everything That I've Commanded You.
Jesus also says “But Anyone Who Hears My Teaching And Doesn't Obey It Is Foolish, Like A Person Who Builds A House On Sand
We are to follow the teachings of JESUS and not Paul, as is common in churches today.
Paul by his own admission states that he had problems in being recognized as an Apostle
1 Corinthians 9 v1 Am I not as free as anyone else? Am I not an apostle? Haven’t I seen Jesus our Lord with my own eyes?Isn’t it because of my work that you belong to the Lord? 2Even if others think I am not an apostle, I certainly am to you.
You yourselves are proof that I am the Lord’s apostle.
3This is my answer to those who question my authority.
Here is the "KICKER" even Pauls closest follower Timothy must have had some doubts about Pauls claim to be an apostle
For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. 1 Timothy 2v7
This is proof enough that Paul was not accepted as an Apostle.
Of the 22 times in the Bible where Paul is referred to as an "apostle", only twice is he referred to as an apostle by someone other than himself! These two instances came from the same person ,his companion Luke the author of the Book of Acts.
Both accounts are found in Luke's record of the Acts of the Apostles, (chapter 14:4,14). Here Paul is referred to as an apostle along with Barnabas.
In the whole Bible the only 2 people that are called Apostles, other than the ORIGINAL 12, are Paul and Barnabas. As has been previously stated the only person that refers to them as Apostles is their buddy Luke- Acts 14:14, but there is no record of Barnabas claiming the title for himself.
Paul was not at all bashful about calling himself an apostle. In nine out of thirteen of his books, he introduces himself as an apostle and in each case states in some way that his apostleship is by divine decree.
Here is some information that really is going to blow your mind. In the book of Revelation Jesus commended the Ephesian church for doing right.
"I know your works, your labor, and your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars." Rev. 2:2
Now we have a record of Paul claiming to be an Apostle to the Ephesian Church.

Ephesians 1 This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus.
I am writing to God’s holy people in Ephesus, who are faithful followers of Christ Jesus.
We know that Paul had great opposition in Ephesus. Acts 19 v 8Then Paul went to the synagogue and preached boldly for the next three months, arguing persuasively about the Kingdom of God.
But some became stubborn, rejecting his message and publicly speaking against the Way.
The facts can be summed up like so:
Paul to the Ephesians: "I am an apostle of Christ"
Ephesians to Paul: "Oh NO! you're not."
Jesus to the Ephesians: "Well done!"
Jesus in the Book of Revelation speaks to the 7 churches. These churches are in Asia and one of them is the church in Ephesus.
Jesus again commends some people in the church at Thyatira.
Rev 2 v  24now I Say To The Rest Of You In Thyatira,
To You Who Do Not Hold To Her Teaching
The only person that claims to have DEEP SECRETS is Paul.. 1 Cor 2v10
But[e] it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit.
For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s
Paul in his own words to Timothy confirms that he was rejected as an apostle in Asia.
2 Timothy 1 verse 15.
As you know, everyone from the province of Asia has deserted me.
Paul confesses again, of being rejected in Asia
2 Corinthians 1 v 8My friends, I want you to know what a hard time we had in Asia. Our sufferings were so horrible and so unbearable that death seemed certain. 9In fact, we felt sure that we were going to die. But this made us stop trusting in ourselves and start trusting God, who raises the dead to life. 10God saved us from the threat of death, [a] and we are sure that he will do it again and again.
Just to hammer the point.... ALL the 7 churches mentioned in the book of Revelation were in ASIA
Remember that only 2 people were referred to as Apostles.
The only person that claimed to have a connection with the Ephesians was Paul masquerading as an Apostle.
The church in Ephesus(Asia) was commended by Jesus for rejecting false Apostles
More evidence that Paul never had a real encounter with Jesus is here:
For Christ didn't send me to baptize, but to preach the Good News--and not with clever speech, for fear that the cross of Christ would lose its power 1 Corinthians 1:17.
Now we know that there is NO POWER in the cross but in the Name of Jesus and the Blood of Jesus.
16. Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
18. Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
19. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, BAPTIZING them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
(Paul Urges The Corinthians To Imitate Him, Rather Than Christ)

"Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus, I became your (Spiritual) Father through the gospel. Therefore I urge you to imitate me." I Cor 4:15/16
It is easy to understand why Paul does not tell them to follow  Christ,
it's because he never met Christ, to know what his teachings are.
JESUSin Mat 23 [9] And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your Spiritual Father
Now I know that you are going to quote this passage to me:
2 Tomothy 3 verse 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right
Here are some very important points to remember.
1.    The New Testament as we know it, was only compiled in AD 382.That's 382 years after Jesus left the earth.
2.    Jesus through the Holy Spirit is able to convict and convert people. Acts 2 verse 47 At the same time, they praised God and had the good will of all the people. Every day the Lord saved people, and they were added to the group.
3.    So for 382 years God was able to spread the Gospel not needing Radio or TV or the Epistles of the New Testsment. We serve a big God that created the universe. He does not really need mans help.
4.    This passage was written as a letter to Timothy.
5.    Paul was NOT referring to his letter as being scripture but to the Old Testament, because we have established that Paul sent this letter long before the New Testament was compiled or existed as we know it.
6.    Leaving aside the Council in Rome and others alike, and just concentrating on the two letters to Timothy.
1Tim. 4v13 Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures to the church, encouraging the believers, and teaching them.
1Tim. 5v18.For the Scripture says, “You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” And in another place, “Those who work deserve their pay!
7.    2 Tim. 3v15.You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.
8.    The instructions to Timothy were not to read Paul’s letters but the Old Testament. When Tim was a child Paul’s letters were not around.
Timothy was not taught the Pauline epistles but the Old Testament from childhood.
Although “Tim’s” father was Greek and mother Jewish he was brought up the way a Jewish parent should have. (Train up a child …)
Paul makes reference to him being taught by his Grandmother and mother. 2Timothy 1v5. I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.
9.    In 1 Cor 7 v 14 For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.
If this is scripture, then according to Paul, the unbelieving wife/husband could live as they please, because the holiness of the spouse was all that is required.
But as we know we will all give an account individually. Our righteousness is as filthy rags.
10. Ezekiel 18v8.For all people are mine to judge—both parents and children alike. And this is my rule: The person who sins is the one who will die.
11. 1Cor 7 v 29.What I mean, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none;
OH Boy! Some men would love this verse.
Then there is the issue of women being silent in church, having to dress modestly and not talking/preaching in church. 1Cor 14v34Women should be silent during the church meetings. It is not proper for them to speak. They should be submissive, just as the law says.(Just so you know there is no such law in the Old Testament)
· If these are scriptures then we are certainly not obeying
