One day I visited the Russian Museum near the center of St. Petersburg. While looking at the paintings of Russian artists, I was filled with delight at an enormous picture called The Bronze Serpent. This portrayal of a scene from chapter 21 in the book of Numbers stands the simple way God offers to save us from our sins.
Next to the bronze serpent in the painting, deadly-ill people were depicted lying in a disordered huddle in the foreground. Probably these were people who had been led or carried near the dying, they did not appear to be raising their eyes to the salvation being offered to them. Then I saw a mother lifting up her baby to so that he might see the bronze serpent and live.
The Offer of Salvation

God gave Stephen the power to work great miracles and wonders among the peoples. But some Jew from Cyrene and Alexandria were members of a group called the “Free Men”. They started arguing with Stephen.
What the Jew were arguing about was why if Peter was the Head Apostle why wasn’t he doing the miracles. Satan had visited Peter in Peter’s heart and wanted Peter to be the leader in the miracles.
Stephen was called to deal with the Mess Tent and deal with the food to the widows and thought that job did not fit him and God agreed took him to his final activity as a martyr as he sought in his heart and was stone by the Jews. He should sticked with lowly job and the second chair and stay away from the heat.
And in today’s new those who exalt themselves and be leaders in our Nation, we should not envision to trouble our country, because Russia has special favor that there is peace in this nation because the Cold War was expensive to the Poliburo who could not explain to Stalin what was the fate of those in Siberia and why Marxism did not work for them freezing to death.
And Gorbachek did more for Russia keeping that trade coming with the corn and wheat we need at any price.
