The Two Greatest Books In The World

The two greatest books in the world are the Holy Bible and the Dictionary.

The other way while meditating on the word of God, the word of the Lord came to me and said, "Every man should own, read and study two books throughout his life, The Holy Bible and a Dictionary."

When I first started reading and studying the Bible, I heard a song, looked up the scripture and read it:

Isaiah 40:31] But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

I was confused at how someone could "wait" on the Lord and be "strengthened".   That just did not make since to me.   So as I read it over and over again, I asked the Lord to explain how that was possible.   He instructed me to "look up" the word WAIT in the dictionary, and as I red through the different meanings of the word WAIT, I saw it...

WAIT: 1) to stay in place in expectation of; 4a) to be ready and available.

When I saw this the Lord just started ministering to me about EXPECTATION and BEING READY.   He said, "Those that WAIT on Me, PREPARE FOR MY ARRIVAL."   He said, "They have an EXPECTATION of Me coming to them and they are READY for Me when I get to them."   My idea of WAITING was an aimless act.   By defining the word WAIT, I understood the word of God more clearly.

That was the first time that I ever thought to open up a dictionary while reading the Bible, but now it is a common practice.

The other day while preparing for my Disciples Group Meeting, topic being, THE POWER OF OUR TONGUE AND THE PRODUCTIVITY OF OUR WORDS, the Lord had me read Jeremiah 1:4-8 and in these scriptures, He had me focus on His rebuke of Jeremiah's claim that "he was a youth".   Again, the Lord sent me to the dictionary to look up...

YOUTH: 1) a time period between childhood and maturity.

And in looking up this word, the Lord proceeded to show me that He had to rebuke the words of Jeremiah because Jeremiah was speaking IMMATURITY over his life.   By saying,"I am a youth", in the spirit realm, Jeremiah was saying, "I am IMMATURE".   Not knowing the definition of the word YOUTH, and speaking it was confining him out of ignorance.   Thankfully, God stopped him.

Thankfully, the second greatest book is available for all to read and study, that we might not confine ourselves because of ignorance.   Thankfully, God instructed me that faithful day to research and study these words that He Himself spoke that I might know the true meaning of His word.

What is the conclusion?

The wisdom of God is deep...

[Romans 11:33] Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! in order for us to fully grasp His word, we gotta go deep.

Surface reading, results in surface understanding, resulting in surface faith.
