While I was driving this morning...I had a thought - to be or not to be in the will of God - what does that mean?
So are you in the will of God? What is the will of God for you? Some think this will is just to be saved - if that is the case why did He prepare plans in advance for us to walk in- just to be saved? I don't think that was His only attention.
Our salvation launches us into His will for a life time - IF we stay fast to the leading of the Holy Spirit. We decide if we are in or out of His will. Each one of us have a distinctive personality that attract certain people - i.e. the way I teach, speak or lead is different then the way of someone else - with that being said - some will like the way I share the gospel vs the way you may share it - BUT we both have to do it!
We should never compare our-self to someone else's ministry - the only one we should compare to is the ministry of Jesus. If we try to be like someone else -this is a fast way to be out of His will - why? Because we are not walking in a way that He created us to walk in! Be who God has created you to be and walk in just that!
When you walk in your personality, calling and purpose then you will be the effective minister you were created to be! If we try to be someone else, say we try to talk, act, pray, share like someone else, we are missing the point of having our own creative flow - I do believe in mentoring - but not mimic the one that is doing the mentoring.
The will of God for you is to be just you! (and the same for me) We all have a purpose to fulfill in the kingdom of God - to fulfill that call - we must be who God created us to be and represent Him and Him alone - period! It is important to be secure in who you are in Christ. If you feel weak in this area, seek after God - ask for healing and restoration and allow His touch position back into where you need to be - and that is to be you!
So the point is -Just be you! Watch how God can move through you as you become who you need to be in Christ. There are to many imposters in the world - Jesus is looking for the genuine heart.
