Being a Christian is Confusing

Sometimes the more I read the Bible, and observe the number of religions and interpretations there are, the more confused I become about the details, but one thing that is clear to me is treating people the way I want to be treated REGARDLESS of how I am treated in return.

Jesus Sums up the whole law in one verse Matthew 7:12:“In everything, therefore, [a]treat people the same way you want [b]them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Mark 12:30 AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.’ 31 The second is this, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Luke 10:27 And he answered, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” 28 And He said to him, “You have answered correctly; DO THIS AND YOU WILL LIVE.”

Good post! It's always tempting to get back at someone who mistreats you, but that isn't the Godly way to live. If we love the Lord, and He commands us to love our neighbor, we must do so...regardless.
