Why can't we all just get along?

I have many friends, yet none of them seem to truly get me at times.  Don't get me wrong. I cherish them greatly, just as I do my family members.  As a matter of fact, family members don't always get each other either.  But at the end of the day, it only matters what God thinks of all that goes on amongst (as well as inwardly) with his children overall.

I just sincerely hope that instead of saying hurtful things to others (or even thinking such unkind thoughts) that we could all just exist as God intended as to, with love and harmony amongst one another and by ourselves.  Although this does not excuse our actions towards one another, we often say things we do not mean to each other that leave scars on our hearts.

Jesus said "Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you."  Food for thought from the Son of God himself, for only he can take credit for saying so.

We must have been thinking the same kind of thing today! (my message on "Fracturing..." You're right, God never intended for His people to have so many divisions of thought among us. I fear to pray for complete unity on all things among believers is a lot like hoping for world peace!

But we can hope and pray for it anyway! Good message, thanks for sharing...
