Sorry about last week people. I got pretty busy with doing so many things. I hope you were able to use the other recipes I posted on the blog to aid you in meal preparation for the week. Well fasters you have made it to the last week! Congratulations! Fasting is not an easy task. So even if you had to switch up or add in some foods you should still be proud. This week let's remember to focus on what your goal was for the fast. If your goal was guidance, make sure to take time out to read Scriptures that focuses on hearing from God. if your focus was on finances and then read the Scriptures towards finances. If your focus is on bindings be sure to read up on how to bind and loose the spitrit and then also how to speak what you want into existence. Now that I have my Dragon naturally speaking working correctly it will be easier for me to update my blog.
Last week I drank a lot of smoothies and I ate a veggie Tortilla soup with homemade guacamole. I don't have a problem eating the same food's everyday. It saves me money and time. However, I will post links to other recipes that you can eat during the fast. Just remember not to eat any dairy!
So this week I have decided to try to make mean greens. So I'm taking a cabbage, kale, spinach , one onion, carrots, vegetable stock, garlic, and cayenne pepper to make a soup.dish. Hopefully it's good but I really want some greens but no MEAT.
So first I'm going to chop up an onion, the cabbage, kale, spinach, and carrots. In a pot I'm going to sauté the onions, garlic, two tablespoons of olive oil for 5 min. Hopefully that will be enough time... allow longer time if needed. Then add veggie stock and allow to come to the boil then add veggies allow to cook on medium heat for 30 to 40 min. longer if you need it. Now you have a delicious soup season how you please. I'm going to add iin Cayenne pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
For breakfast I'm going to be eating smoothies. Take whatever fruit and veggies you would like, cut it up, place it in a Ziploc bag and freeze it. In the morning Place all frozen veggies and fruit in the blender, add Apple juice or orange juice, and blend until smooth add more juice if needed.
I'm going to also be eating chopped apples simmered in all-natural apple juice and rolled oats cooked in apple juice with cinnamon. I have never made this before but I think it will be good. You can add nuts or pecans to get in your proteins. I think I will ground up some flax seed! Flax seed is good 4 you!!!
