We all have a pizza topping that when we see it we make a face. We don't like it, we don't want to look at it, taste it, or smell. We just don't like it. People can be the same way, and that's what we hear about Christians all the time. The most common toppings for Christians drive people away from Christianity. I may not know all these toppings, but there's 3 I tend to hear about.
1) Hypocritical. They get on to someone for doing something that they do.
2) Bad showers of GOD's love. They'll say GOD loves you, & then go hate on some well known group of sinners. Gays is a good example (I'm not pro gay, but I believe hate the sin, not the sinner. After all. we a sin.)
3) Religious conservatives. They're the ones who tend to be judgmental, have large hate rallies against a group of sinners, be hypocytical, & not allow a new way to worship GOD into Christianity. They hold on & fight for things not to change.
These are the 3 "toppings" I hear about. It's hard to change these things, but I know things can change for the better. We may not be able to get rid of those toppings, but we can help people understand that these aren’t the ways that Christianity's about.
So may GOD be with us, as we try to show the world what the Bible wants us to be.
