Blog 24: Consequences

We've all probably heard this quote. "If you play with fire, you get burned." Just like getting burned by fire, if you play with sin there's consequences Galatians 6:7-8. Like unprotected sex or sex outside of marriage, drug use, ext. But most people think that GOD punishes you when you sin, & he does sometime, but most of the time it's not GOD punishing us, it's the sin itself that does. It backlashes & punishes you, & sometimes hurts other people, & that is the one thing I can tell you is true when it comes to sin's consequences.

It's like another old saying ,"sometimes bad things happen to good people," when that happens it's for one of three reasons. They're sin is punishing them, someone else's sin is hurting them, or just because sin is around. It's not fair that it happens, but then again, sin doesn't play fair. We may think we know best, & that we can beat sin, but we can't. Bad things are gonna happen, because of you, someone else, or just because there is sin. We can prepare for it, but when it comes down to it, the best protection is GOD.

I'm not saying GOD doesn't punish you for sin, what I'm saying is that it's not always GOD who punishes you as much as sin is punishing you/

GOD gave us all free will because he loves us. GOD would let all those people in, & they were here long before him, you, or me were here, & they'll be here. Like GOD, I may not approve of it, but all I can do is talk to them, tell them my view, & hope they see the truth. & the devil is not on a victory march, he's on a march to death, & hbe's pulling as many people down with him as he can before it's over. If I join your group you need to know, I won't see eye to eye with everything you or the others say, but I'll support your cause & help to teach others any wrongdoings they're doing are wrong & how to find out a way to fix it. I can't promise to always succeude, I'm not foolish enough to think anyone other than GOD could do that, but I can promise to do my best. Also some more neccesary to know, I'm sixteen & training to be a youth pastour, so I do my own studies. If you don't want me to join tell me, otherwise say I can & I will.

At the beggining when I said him, I meant Obamma not GOD. When I was talking about them being here, them being those of other faith.

Your post reminds me of Proverbs 19:3, "The foolishness of man ruins his way, And his heart rages against the LORD." NASB

God does punish those He Loves however. Hebrews 12:6
