Who Gives Kudos:

Jeremiah 29:11-13

Do you know your future? Do you know what the outcome of your life will be?
You may not know, but God knows.
Jeremiah 29:11-13
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
The greatest part about our future is that God knows it, and He wants to give you peace and a hope for it. But so many times we see the past and let it direct our future, but God knows our past, our present, and our future and He still has peace and hope for us.
What gives you hope? What gives you peace? How do we obtain those and draw them into our hearts and lives?
Verse 13 says: 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
If we seek Him we will FIND Him… But we must search for Him with ALL our heart.
You see knowing the plans of our lives, the future and having hope, is about searching for the Lord with all our heart and finding Him. Searching is about love and passion, and at times desperation.
I remember losing a piece of jewelry that was given to me. This piece was very sentimental to me and so I went to great lengths to search for it. At first the search was out of love, and passion for this piece that had great value to me, but the longer I searched the search turned into desperation. Desperation that I would never find it again.
When we search for the Lord, we are looking for His heart. We are looking for His presence, not out of what we can gain from it, but just out of pure love for Him.
Seek the Lord, search for Him with passion. He knows your heart, and He has a future and hope for you. He wants to pour out on you His blessings; His love; His promises.
Thanks for your time and peace be with you:
Be Blessed,
Lisa Caye Gunn
