Who Gives Kudos:

Glory be to God.

This morning I woke up praying to God to provide us with an air conditioner.  We had been to the store Monday night and they had a ton for sale in the aisles.

Thinking we shouldn't spend the money, we chose not to buy one that day.

The last few days have been brutal and the heat has taken a toll not only on myself and my husband, but especially on my children.  I have a toddler who has become beside herself with misery during this heat wave.

So today I knew it was time.  I would use my credit card and get that air conditioner.

When I got to Walmart I was astonished to see they were completely sold out.

Little did I know, as I do not watch the news, the entire state was sold out.

I walked through the store close to tears as I was desperate to bring my children relief.

I went out to the car and called the church declaring an SOS concerning this matter and asked that they put the word out on my problem.

While in the store, God had spoke to me and had said "Marshal."  That happens to be my ex husbands father and the grandfather to my oldest daughter.

Now he had just bought us a pool for the kids so I thought, no way Lord!  I cannot ask him for another thing!

I drove home and as soon as I got into the house my phone rang.  It was a lady from the church who was five minutes away.  She was heading to Home Depot to return an air conditioner she had just bought.

She brought it over right away and for $100. we were granted relief.

The air conditioner was small, but I didn't care.  I was so thankful to God that he had pulled through.

Shortly after we got the AC hooked up, I received another call.

My daughters Grandmother, who is now divorced from Marshal, was calling to say she had a large AC at Marshals house that we could have free of charge.

We now have an AC for my babies bedroom and another that will fill the entire first floor with fresh cool air.

Only God could take a day when there was such a shortage on air conditioners that the news covered it, and bless my family with two.
