I am a devout chritsian and have been since very early in childhood. I recently read an article about several studies, past and present that are attempting to link certain human gene's and "religiousity". In a scientific study by a University of Minnesota Psychology professor Thomas J Bouchard Jr. and his Graduate student Laura Koenig, they found that identical twins raised apart were 40-50% more likely to be religious compared to fraternal twins raised, and non-twin biological siblings raised apart were even less likely to share religious beliefs as adults. I was wondering if anyone else was familiar wiht this approach to why we humans are religious? Would anyone else like to share their thoughts?
