Many people today don't understand what true love is. The word love has become a thing that people talk about, but don't really understand. As Christians, love should be the motivation for everything that we do. Without love, our actions and our words are meaningless. This week we are going to look at what love is.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
Action Point
What is the motivation behind your words and actions? Is it love, or is it a cheap imitation? Do you love the Lord? Do you love your neighbor as yourself, and do you love your wife as Christ loved the church? As we study 1st Corinthians 13, examine yourself, and your relationship with others.
