My daugther called me and told me she was in distress was to her last 30 dollars in her bank account! I thought to myself what shall I do? I did not have a dime to send her! I decided to go church and to 'get to work'. We had the most wonderful time and made important break-throughs in understanding the bible. As the day lingered on I found out that my daugther had called and I thought about her situation and I helplessly thought of what to do? I said to my Lord, "You know the situation and we haven't got a dime...!" And I remember what you said that I have been young and now old and yet have never seen the children of the righteous begging bread!...
["...55I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon.
56Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.
57Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.
58O LORD, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.
59O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.
60Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me.
61Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me;
62The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.
63Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick.
64Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.
65Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.
66Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD...]
And I told the Lord the situation but we decided that we were not going to panic or get upset. And my mother said, "What's this about Judy...?" And I told her that she was having a problem. And I figured then and asked my mother how about a loan till the end of the month? And she said, I don't see why not! And she lend me some money to buy a Money Order and a stamp and I sent my daugther some help for the mean time. And I thought to my Lord I don't know wether to keep your word in the vault for its treasure or in the refrigerator for the milk and honey in it!...
It's a small matter. Helping your daugther out with a few bucks or is it when things get dire and needs come? But the fact the matter in middle of the trial, I thanked the Lord that I will always have his word and that was my delight this Sunday and those in Sunday School I hope they picked up the message that the Lord is faithful and is there in time of need! Faithful! Faithful! Faitful is the Lord and his word to deliver and he said you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free! And I had some money left and bought a roasted chicken which took care of dinner today...!
