Against all odds, God uses a small shepherd boy to do a great work. Goliath stood about 9 foot 9 inches tall, and David was just a boy. Many would think that David didn't stand a chance, but God was about to take a small shepherd boy and use him in a mighty way.
1st Samuel 17:4,14
(4) And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. (14) David was the youngest. And the three oldest followed Saul.
Often times when we look at a person we only look a their size and strength. When God looks at us, He looks at our heart. Are you ready to face the giant? Are you ready for God to use you in a mighty way? Remember that in our weakness, God is made strong.
