Wow! What a start, if we could only get ourselves to smile, yet sing, then a new song, and yet to the Lord! It seem if this is assembly line of a praise factory. We start with the raw material smile. "Smile on your brother...come on all ye people, smile on your brother,...let's get together and love one another...! I don't have the exact line to this late pop song. But how do we need to get on together and love one an other...! Let's turn to Psalm 96:1-6 and what did King David thought of a new song to the Lord,
["... 1 Sing a new song to the LORD;
sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Sing to the LORD, praise His name;
proclaim His salvation from day to day.
3 Declare His glory among the nations,
His wonderful works among all peoples.
4 For the LORD is great and is highly praised;
He is feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
but the LORD made the heavens.
6 Splendor and majesty are before Him;
strength and beauty are in His sanctuary...]
And we see that the Lord want all the earth to sing this song. Declare his glory among the nations, His wonderful works among all people. We pray God finished this blog. When Rhoda came to door to open it for Peter she was OVERJOYED! and she ran back without opening it. When was the last time we overjoyed to open the door for each other, that we run inside with joy and forget to open the door? Is the joy for each other there still? Is there strength and beauty in his sanctuary...?
I must ask is the communion with each other still there? God says that if we have fellowship with him, we have fellowship with each other. Is the door still secure? The windows shut from what could prevail to topple a house, like a storm from somewhere? Why do some congregations spring up like in Spring and there's nothing left in harvest, Fall? Is the stuff that ties the knot still there? Can anyone relate to this?...
