Path of Exile’s Delve launches August 31 by having an infinite dungeon
Path of Exile’s Delve launches August 31 by having an infinite dungeon; here’s our talk with Grinding Gear’s Chris Wilson!
Picture this: an underground dungeon that gets progressively more challenging — and rewarding — the deeper your going, and there isn't a end. Not a massive array in sight, but a massive array. An infinite dungeon. Does this seem like a dream become a reality to you? Well go on and smile because POE Chaos Orb is delivering this on August 31st (if you do not play on Xbox One, then you've to possible until September 3rd). The next league is aptly called Delve, and it is all about descending right into a never-ending mine shaft, reaping rewards while staving off of the dangers inside darkness — with all the darkness itself being one particular dangers!
While that info alone may very well be enough to help keep you entertained for any bit, could you want more. So I had a bit chat with Producer Chris Wilson to understand more about this intriguing idea featuring its new mechanics and features to pass through it all through to you. And you will never know? This may very well be just the beginning: Wilson called this “Path of Exile’s first infinite dungeon,” which could lend one to believe that more numbers could follow.
