Led Public lighting(CLASSIC) lasts longer but at a higher price. Ordinary household LED bulbs range in price from $8 to $30, while other types of bulbs range from $1 to $2. Multiplying this number by the number of bulbs on the LED poles of the historic Golden Gate Bridge is a considerable investment. However, despite the high purchase price, LEDs save a lot of money by:
Reduce maintenance. Cities and businesses have found that installing LED public lighting greatly reduces maintenance costs because the bulbs do not need to be replaced frequently.
Reduce utility bills. LED lights use 1/16 of the wattage required for incandescent bulbs and 2/3 of the watts required for CFL lamps, significantly reducing electricity bills.
Reduce replacement requirements. The LED bulb is the most durable of the three bulbs investigated above. They generate the least amount of heat and are immune to heat, cold, current fluctuations and other conditions that damage other bulb types.
