E3 2018: Fortnite Reaches Massive New Milestone After Switch Release

We have always known that Epic's Fortnite is massively popular, the good news is the developer has quantified the overall game's success. In less over a year, the action has reached an astounding 125 million players, the studio said inside a blog post. It is just not clear how this figure breaks down relating to the paid Save the World game and Battle Royale, but without doubt Battle Royale might be more popular.

The announcement came at E3 2018 this week throughout the Fortnite Pro-Am that saw big-name streamers paired with celebrities to experience the game. As section of this, Epic also announced more details around the $100 million Fortnite eSports funding which it announced in May.
