"Wavering in Unbelief or Strengthened in Faith?"

“Wavering in Unbelief or Strengthened in Faith?”

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised. This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness---for us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Romans 4:20-25

Abraham was known as the ‘Man of Faith’, and because of his STRONG FAITH in God and His promises, Abraham was considered RIGHTEOUS in the sight of the Almighty God. The Bible says: “It was credited to him as righteousness.” Our verses today, tells us that Abraham did NOT WAVER in UNBELIEF in regards to God’s promise, but he was STRENGTHENED in his FAITH.

Now, God’s promise to Abraham, to make him the FATHER of MANY NATIONS, was not an easy thing for Abraham to believe, because of the fact that his body was as good as dead, I mean the man was about a hundred years old, and Sarah was BEYOND child-bearing years, but these things DID NOT WEAKEN Abraham’s FAITH, instead it was STRENGTHENED. He KNEW FULLY well that his God was MORE than ABLE to do what He promised to do. Abraham KNEW when there seems to be NO WAY, God MAKES A WAY. And because of that STRONG, STEADFAST FAITH, it was credited to Abraham as RIGHTEOUSNESS.

The words; “it was credited to him as righteousness, “ was not for Abraham alone, but for ALL those who come after him, and who will believe in Him, the One who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. Jesus gave up His life for OUR sins, which results in our SALVATION, and then He was RAISED to LIFE--- RESURRECTED for our JUSTIFICATION. Are you WAVERING in UNBELIEF or are you STRENGTHENED in FAITH?

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are not just WAVERING in UNBELIEF, but you are LIVING in UNBELIEF. And your destination is NOT a GOOD one, because you are headed for HELL with all of its HORRORS, for ALL of ETERNITY. However, God is NOW giving you the opportunity to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and to TURN TO Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and STOP WAVERING in your UNBELIEF, and be STRENGTHENED in your FAITH. Receive your SALVATION and JUSTIFICATION, and spend an ETERNITY in Heaven. Do it NOW, while you still can. He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
