Faith - Mercy - Compassion

 FAITH - MERCY - COMPASSION

Matthew 20 -    29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34

29 – Now as they went out of Jericho, a great multitude followed Him.

30 – And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”

31 – Then the multitude warned them that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”

32 – So Jesus stood still and called, and said,

“What do you want Me to do for you?”

33 – They said to Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.”

34 – So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes.  And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

Matthew 14 – 14

14 – And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

You see Jesus wants us to believe that we can be healed; before He heals us, this is PURE FAITH.  The two blind men heard that Jesus could heal them; they believed, they asked and without question Jesus healed them. I can only imagine how it was for these two blind men, what an awe-inspiring moment being able to see.  Believing from your heart that Jesus has the power to heal; even by just touching the hem of His garment, you can secure your healing, this is PURE FAITH.

Matthew 14 – 36

36 – and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment.  And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.

 God Bless - Love Peggy
