A Psalm of David.
Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones,
Give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name;
Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The LORD is over many waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful;
The voice of the LORD is full of majesty. The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars,
Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes them also skip like a calf,
Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire. The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness;
The LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth,
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everyone says, "Glory!" The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the LORD sits as King forever.
The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.
Breakthrough in the Glory brings about many things. When the breakthrough comes it breaks, shakes, sets afaire, and births! And it brings about strength and peace. Those in the atmosphere of His presence experience strength and peace.
When the King of Glory comes through the gates, He is strong and mighty. When we are in the Presence of the Mighty King, we give honor, glory and power to His name and the glory releases a realm of honor and righteousness.
Strength and might are two attributes that flood the atmosphere in His presence. Strength and might are released deep into the hearts of God's people such that people have the strength to cast off their burdens and supernaturally believe the impossible to be possible. The strength of the Lord establishes us in "we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us" (Philippians 4:13) What an amazing thing it is to see the glory of the King drench a place and to witness the release of His holy zeal that transforms downcast souls into mighty ones! Strength and might -- strength and might comes when we usher in His presence, when the mighty ones "give unto the Lord the glory due to His name" when we"worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness" (Psalm 29:1,2)
