In Luke 16:1-13 of the King James Version Bible the LORD walks us through a very interesting and potentially misleading scenario many people have misunderstood. In Luke 16:1-7 we are seeing the manipulation of truth by the steward who is definitely one of this world. In Luke 16:8-9 we see " the lord's" opinion of this behavior and at this point the question should arise; does this sound at all like "the LORD"? In Proverb 6:30-31 the LORD is telling us if a man steals and he is found he must give seven times or all that he has to his victim so, could the sentiments we read in Luke 16:8-9 possibly be those of the LORD? I think not. I believe in Luke 16:8-9 we are reading the sentiments of the lord of this world: Satan; and this is why "the lord" is not written as "the LORD". In Luke 16:10-12 we are reading the sayings of the LORD: the one true God; do you perceive the dichotomy? The LORD concludes His presentation with Luke 16:13 which is essentially telling us He has presented us with His view of the world which we see in Luke 16:10-12 and Satan's view of the world put forth in Luke 16:8-9. The chosen have been chosen from before the foundation of the world, 2 Timothy 1:9, so this choice is for everyone else; how do you view the world? Will you be among those of In Isaiah 26:20 or are you among those of Isaiah 26:21?
Pray to the one true God for His guidance, support and protection from the workings of Satan then, read your King James Version Bible along with this Bible study that the LORD might open your eyes to His truth.
