You got 40,000 projects to do, some disturbing and demanding, familiar, well-known. While we assess the progress more and more time is spent on all this till our efforts seem to dissipate into thin air. Yet we trudge on in the prime of duty to God and country. 'Who cares what the cost, there is still so much to do.' What’s wrong, you’ve got all the items in order and you don’t seem to be missing a single trick, , Man - you have got their number don’t you, and then start right back at it. “Ain’t no way I’m gonna listen to them and here’s why!” Well now, , is that so? Tell me, is this for the Lord’s sake? Is this your version of obedience to His will or word, which are the same? There is likely 40,000 more initiatives out there just like this consuming ourselves on the tangent of mind rather than His peace which is the specific difference between doing “many wonderful works” vs bearing “much fruit”. Where, oh man, is His will and peace to be found in all this strife? Go back, go back and let’s remember His truth to progress as a people and a thriving nation:
“, fear God, honor the emperor.” “Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to, , the emperor” (1 Peter 2:17,13)
"But take heed to yourselves lest possibly your hearts be laden with, , cares of life," (Luke 21:34)
May "the Lord’s sake" be maintained in knowing just how much do we let go!
