The Purpose and the Cure

The purpose of the law under the Old Covenant was shown to us so we could actually see we were in sin and had need of a Savior. When under mosaic law, a sacrifice had to always be made for disobeying...But when the "New" came..(Hebrews 8:13)...He made  the first obsolete.  God no longer desires a sacrifice or a burnt offering (Heb. 10:5,6).......  For God so loved the world that He gave His Son, (John 3:16) He became our once and for all time sacrifice/offering...(Hebrews 10:14!) His blood was shed, and continually  cleanses us from sin!  We only overcome now by looking to HIM and what He did for us at the Cross....It's HIS Goodness "In us" that saves us...nothing of self...For its the goodness of God that leads one to repent and walk in His ways..... He fulfilled the law for  us!!  Even our obedience ..comes from Him...Romans 11:36  "For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things."  We are now the righteousness of God IN Christ.  Galatians 2: 21- I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the  law, then Christ died needlessly. Galatians 3:10 For as many as are under the law are under a curse. Galatians 3:13 - Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having  become a curse for us. "He" is the author and finisher of our faith. Not a set of rules and regulations to earn...but a relationship to encounter!...Oh Halleluiah!!! Praise you Jesus!!

Do we really believe we are a "NOW" "New Creation" in Christ Jesus? or are we still  "striving" to reach that New Creation?  Was the Cross not enough? Are we (in the flesh)   trying to perfect/make sacrifice, for what was already done for us?  If so, we are under law which will make us perform to "Earn Him"....its never what we have to "DO"...He done it!!..Look to Him and "Rest"...assured......for then you will "BE" a better  person...its ALL HIM folks!! He gave us His Holy Spirit to walk in "His" Identity to  therefore "BE" the Church. Walk IN the faith of (His finished work in and for you).....  and you will not fullfill the lust of the flesh...(John 1:16) "For of His fullness we have all  received, and grace upon grace. 17- For the law was given through Moses; grace and  truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

Christ became our New and Living Way...Mixing law with grace will always bring discontentment in self.

Rest in His free gift of undeserved, unmerited, unearned favor. Grace

Know His Unconditional Love. Be Free, in Liberty and Justice for all. Receive it!

Thank you Lord.
