what would Jesus Do

 W.W.J.D + D.W.J.D
The message i share today is of choice the power to choose to do whats right. To choose to be like Jesus being imitators of God and our Lord Jesus Christ, Eph chp.5-Be you therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling smell.) Everyone knows the famous saying W.W.J.D "What would Jesus do". A powerful statement that reminds us to take the time to stop and reflect on the life Of our Lord Jesus Christ. Placing ourselves in his shoes as we face choices in our everyday lives. Still before we can ask ourselves "What Would Jesus Do" we first have to know what Jesus did. To know what Jesus did we must get to know Jesus Christ himself. How do we get to know Jesus Christ? By spending time with him through fellowship, worship, prayer ,study and meditation of Gods Word . All these factors are important to our personal relationship with God and all will help us grow spiritually. The more we grow the easier it becomes to act out in a Christ like character/behavior to make the choices to Do What Jesus Did. "D.W.J.D" Still we must choose! Many of us know exactly what Jesus would do we read our bibles know the stories, go to church, hear the lessons and just stop right there. When asked we always have the answer we know the right things to say yet still we do the things we ought not to. The world is full of Christians who know what Jesus Did.Though few are those who will make the choice to step out and do what Jesus did putting to action the teachings of Christ. Its not enough to have an understanding. Many of us read Gods word examining the life of Christ and have sympathy for the compassion he had towards people marveling at the wonderful things he did . We feel moved understanding right from wrong. Seeing the truth that's known deep within our hearts, but cant practice it in our own lives . The love and compassion that Christ expressed for most of us only exists on paper its more of a fantasy than a realization. I look at my own life and some of the situations that have befallen me. Many times i have had a chance to step up to do the thing i know is right and yet still i falter. I never said it was easy. As a matter of fact it can be quite difficult. Though I found the more time i spend with God the more I'm changed and the easier it is to make the choice to do the things that Jesus did. We all can be over comers in Jesus Christ our lord. We have the power to choose to whats right crucify our flesh and walk in his spirit. I pray this word will touch some ones heart as it has touched mine be encouraged to rise up and be the over comers that God wants us to be. For we are more than conquerors Rom 8:37)

Take the moment to ask your self what Jesus would do then Make the choice to do what Jesus did! God Bless you all.
