Who Gives Kudos:

I AM Blessed

This is the first time I have ever done a blog that wasn't school related.  I guess I should start with the obvious.

I am extremely thankful for everything I have in my life.  My husband, my parents, my siblings, and my job.  I have been blessed beyond what I deserve.

If someone were to come up to you and say that prayers are never answered then one of two things has happened to them:

1. They haven't waited long enough for the full realization of their answered prayer

2. They haven't realized that God has something better planned for them that they should trust and believe that something better will happen

I have had my prayers answered.  Not exactly in the way I thought they would have been answered, but I know that they have been.

About 5 years ago, I was tired of dating and tired of playing the guessing game of if the next guy was 'the one.'  I simply gave up and said, "God, if you think I should have a husband, then I will wait for you to give me a husband."  I did do something not advisable.  I asked for a specific husband: he had to have a great job, he had to own his own home (not a trailer), and he had to be Christian.

Not only did I get my prayers for a husband answered, I got everything I asked for!!!  What's even more, God guided me to leave my home town and take on a new adventure where I was sure to meet my new husband.

So, to put it plainly, I am blessed.
