UFOs, When Impossible Happens. Another one of those kook-flag sensitive issues, alright, I’ll take the hit.
It is my opinion that some of God’s people may have experienced an eclipse of their own spiritual journey after finding out how much time and effort they invest into this subject. I can safely say I have next to none. What I do see is if a report surfaces, let the appropriate authorities do a legitimate investigation and move on from there. But this thing refuses to recede from the landscape.
From nuclear physicist studies to the debunkers denying the more ‘credible’ USAF UFO study, To the assertion that the NSA (National Security Agency) and CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) are withholding UFO data, yet leaks also surface of unknown discretionary budgets of the same happily launching lecturers skyward, is interesting.
Even while I think there is both a pro & con to all this, I am as sure about it as I suppose I will ever be. By that I mean from scripture’s outlook is in vast support of refusals outside of this elusive “evidence”. The best of that evidence gens up a mist and more confusion from those who purport to know. So, where does that wind up? From what I gather over the years, about half of God’s people feel it is demonic.
There is so much dedicated for us to not being deceived by any man. Possibly, you are aware of the refusal of submitting certain types of evidence from time to time today, that if it wishes, any given American court will not allow a scrap of digital anything visually as evidence, only film. It is so much harder to alter. Uncertain about other courts, esp. these days maybe do allow them. One thing is for certain, extreme levels of the craft of “fool-the-eye” have played into our lives like ducks on-a-pond, money or control-money being the bench-rest.
But I believe the Lord cares for the flock of learning. Where is it written that those “signs” (Luke 21:25) will occur in perplexing proportions AGAINST God’s people? I wouldn’t say never to that, for God gives us incredible latitude of choice. If that choice chooses wisely, then the Church is given escape by prayer:
“There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,” (Luke 21:25)
“Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. “But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man. "(Luke 21:34-36)
Just because we are His, doesn’t exclude us from battles along the way, in which the battle and victory are also His. But take a second to re-inspect the record of what happened to the Lord as He was indeed “taken” (Mt 4:8).
I know, I know, but that was by special design for the Son of God only, yeah, okay then. Is there also overwhelming occurrences from the bible how we won’t experience things he did? If solidly so, then speak accordingly.
If we want a defense for this not occurring at any given time under the permission of God the Father, nor think it’s possibility at some point for a Christian being a physical transport, I would think a little elusive, it otherwise remains pretty much an impossibility.
Goodness me, why can’t preparedness be preferred? If he can change himself into an "angel of light" (II Corinthians 11:14) and one of his cohorts have another "seven sons of Sceva" (Acts 19) physical encounter with a demon, why such a resistance for something in this realm? After all, along with end-times comes end time intensities.
