Nehemiah 2:1-5, Habakkuk 2:1-3

Romans 15:4   For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

What is a Vision?

         1.   A picture of the future an inspiration

          2.   A dream or a hope for the future

          3.   A picture of what God want to do through you, with you and for you.

Everybody has his or her own Vision.  Proverbs 19:21 [There are] many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

1.        If you do not understand your vision people will kill it or redesigned it

2.        Seeing is not enough, you need to pray, fast and get counsel

3.       You are equal to any challenges that come along or across your way during your missionary assignment. 1 corin 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

4.        Don´t wastes any time make use of the time.

5.         Not everyone will follow the Vision even though they see the revelation. Why? Hidden agenda and self motives.

6.        Black and White:- always write down whatsoever the Lord tell or show you.

7.        Fulfillment:- God is more than able to do and accomplished whatever He had committed into your hands if you follow His Instruction.

8.        Patience and Persistence:-  James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. Job 42:10 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. 1 Kings 18:41-46

9.       Prepared for the battle:-  Pro 21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord. Every visionary has a battle to face. David – goliath, Moses – pharaoh, Joseph- household enemies brethren, Nehemiah- sanballat and tobiah, Jacob – Esau, Paul- falsehood Christians.

10.    Know your source :-  Ps 121:1-end

11.    Learn to let go:- Ecc 1:4-7, 3:1-8.

12.    Build up people around you:-  those you build will stand by you tomorrow. Exo 17:10-13

Vision Statement.

1.   To propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2.   Give Hope to the hopeless.

3.   Teach the people how to pray.

4.   Rebuilding of broken homes, family and marriages.

5.   To help the less privileges.

What you need to know

v  Location: - Every vision has a location to function. Therefore it is your duties to ask the Lord for the location He want you to operate

v  To whom: - God has a specific message for everyone under the sun. Paul was sent to the gentile and the uncircumcised.

v  The Time: - Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, Habakkuk 2:1-3 ¨I will stand at my watch
and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.a]"> The Lord’s Answer, Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a heraldb]">[b] may run with it.  For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

v  The Resources: - Don´t depend on your own ability but rely totally on God.

v  The Message: - If John the baptism preached another gospel we wouldn´t have heard of him today. He was sent to preach the coming of Jesus Christ. Many had being diverted from their area of calling. Romans 12:6, 1 Peter 4:10.
