Jeremiah 6

A Review of Jeremiah 6

by Keith E Gardner
Always using the King James Bible

Jeremiah 6:1
"O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem." In this portion of the first clause of this verse we see the LORD is telling all those who would hear, and we know only the chosen will hear, to flee Jerusalem: the churches. We also know the LORD is speaking of His because He says "ye children of Benjamin" and Benjamin translated means "son of my right hand" or "southern" and the LORD is the son of the right hand of God; He also is identified by the use of the term south: Isaiah 43:6. In Isaiah 43:6 we read "I will say to the north: give up; and to the south, keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth". The LORD will say to the south keep not back because the south represents Him as He will gather all who are His from the farthest corners of the earth. The verse continues with the second clause which reads "for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction". This we know relates, without any question, to the last days as the LORD says "out of the north" and this represents Satan's domain: Isaiah 14:12-13; so, he is coming to bring "great destruction" destroying a multitude of lives in this world.

Jeremiah 6:2-3
The daughters of Zion in verse 2 are the chosen of God and we are seen by the LORD as comely and delicate women because we are the bride of the Christ: Jeremiah 3:14.

In verse 3 the sheppards with their flocks are the ministers with their congregations as they will all set themselves in opposition to the chosen of God; essentially in opposition to the LORD: 1 Samuel 8:4-8. These people desire their own way and not the way of the LORD: Jeremiah 18:9-12. They have all taken their positions against the LORD to stand for what they want to believe; they will not, as once they begin to run in their own way they can not, change their stand: 2 Corinthians 4:3-4. The closing clause in this verse which reads "they shall feed every one in his place" simply means the multitude of the lost will follow, feed on, whatever religious beliefs they chose as they will not hear truth.

Jeremiah 6:4-6
In verse 4 we see the LORD is preparing the end as He prepares to defend His chosen, His way, against the vast army of the lost. He says "Prepare ye war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon." This is our Lord GOD speaking to the heavenly hosts. He continues with "Woe unto us! for the day goeth away, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out". The LORD opens this verse closing sentence with "Woe unto us!"because the time when He must authorize the destruction of all things has come.

In verse 5 the LORD says "Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces". The reference "by night" is telling us the LORD will come when none, at least none in any church, will know. So, we see in this verse the LORD is preparing to destroy the churches, which are no longer His, identified as "her palaces". In verse 6 the LORD says "...Hew ye down trees and cast a mount against Jerusalem: this is the city to be visited." We know from earlier work that Jerusalem represents the churches; therefore, we see the LORD intends to make the churches - not the physical building but the congregations - the primary focus of His offensive. He closes the verse with"she is wholly oppression in the midst of her". This clause is giving us the reason for the total annihilation of all the churches and even all mankind. Simply put it is the desire of all mankind to depress, suppress and overlook entirely the fact that the LORD is all that is truly significant in all of our lives. Mankind spend their entire lives seeking a multitude of different things they believe they must have; however, in truth the quest of every man is singular. It's not Buddha, Allah, Protestantism, Catholicism or any other idols: material or intellectual; it's God only: Acts 17:23-27. Unfortunately mankind does not want to acknowledge the God that does not approve of their lifestyles; therefore, they have come to see themselves as a form of god as they makeup their own religions, marriage vows and even conjure their own theories for the creation of the earth: the big bang theory and evolution. This is all done to say, there is no God; unfortunately for them, God is the great I Am.

Jeremiah 6:7
In verse 7 the LORD continues to speak of Jerusalem, the church, as He says "As a fountain casteth our her waters, so she casteth out her wickedness". The LORD is speaking of the manipulations of His word used to justify the continued existence of the churches. Pay close attention to most of the sermons you'll hear today and you'll see a majority of them are not biblical. Many sermons go on for up to an hour with a minister delivering a "feel good" message with only an incidental mention of a Bible verse that is usually taken completely out of context. This is because the LORD has left the church and He has taken His truth with Him; hence, you have an inordinate number of ministers who spend an inordinate amount of time ministering about paying them a tithe; that's not supposed to be a minister's primary concern however, today it is. One minister tells us all about his Rolls Royce, his wife's top of the line Mercedes and his kids BMW's and Lexus. If he only has one hour to tell us about God, when did he tell us about all this? Please excuse my digression. The verse continues saying"violence and spoil is heard in her; before me continually is grief and wounds". The violence the LORD speaks of is that in the hearts and on the minds of the multitude of lost souls that make up every church congregation. The spoil the LORD speaks of is the waste of the lavish life styles of many, particularly the ministers, who waste and spoil in abundance and only cry for more: Isaiah 56:10-12. The grief and wounds before the LORD continually are the LORD'S view of the multitude of lost and sick souls that inhabit the world. All mankind are grieved and wounded, even from conception, because of the sin of Adam and Eve; however, the Christ saved all of His elect from before the foundation of the world in soul, Ephesians 1:4-5; then in body at the cross: Isaiah 53:2-11.

Jeremiah 6:8-9
In verse 8 we read of the LORD telling the churches, "O Jerusalem", once again to heed His will as He says to them "Be thou instructed"; but, we know this will be about as effective as anyone of us warning the wind. He continues saying "lest my soul depart from thee" and this happens continually as people ignore the will of the LORD that one pivotal time and He turns them over to sin that they become an enemy to the LORD: Romans 1:18-32. This verse closes with "lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited" as this we see in Revelation 18:1-8 this will occur in one day.

In verse 9 the LORD says "...They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine""They" here is a reference to Satan and his demons while Israel is a reference to the lost world as all who are saved will at this time be with the LORD: Revelation 11:3-13. In the closing clause of the verse we are reading the LORD'S words as He instructs Satan. This is actually Satan's greatest dream come true as he gets to destroy much of what the Godhead has done. Unfortunately for Satan, as soon as the LORD has determined it is enough He will come to deal with Satan and his kingdom and the remnant of mankind: Revelation 19:17-21. Reading Revelation 19:20 we can see clearly that Satan, in all his deception, will be destroyed with this world. We know that is the proper comprehension of Revelation 19:20 from Bible excerpts like Ezekiel 28:11-19 where we are clearly told of Satan's end. Satan's army which is composed of fallen angels and mankind will also be destroyed. Although the vast majority of mankind will be destroyed at this time there will be those whom the LORD will save for His own personal destruction; He will save the best for last: 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 and Revelation 19:19-21. Our Lord GOD has reserved those spoken of in 2 Corinthians 11:15 and Revelation 19:20 for His personal attention in the end as these are all of those who have the greatest debt to pay. They're alive until the very end suffering all the torment of that time longer than any other group of people; even murderers. For the LORD counts them the greatest of all murderers as they, most of them knowingly, led multitudes to a horrible end. So, it will not be over for them until the LORD comes for He has reserved His special attention for each of them: Jude 10-15. Notice in Jude 12 the LORD describes these as "twice dead" and that is because although they live they are dead to God in soul, they are not saved, and without a saved soul the body is doomed to eternal death. In Jude 13 the LORD says "to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever" which once again simply means death in soul and body. In Jude 15 we read "of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him". These "hard speeches" we can know are the ungodly sermons people hear all over the world in every meeting place; the places where God is no more. This is the reason for the LORD'S special attention to the congregation leaders in their end.

Jeremiah 6:10
"To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they can not harken." These are the words of the LORD as He tells us of those who were not chosen from before the foundation of the world and refuse to humble themselves to His will. If an individual is chosen from before the foundation of the world they will hear and heed or be forced to heed the will of God: Jonah 1:1 thru3:10. For those who were not chosen the LORD gives them the option to learn of Him that they may acknowledge Him. If they acknowledge Him then He will have mercy on them in their lives, Jeremiah 7:23, and in their end, Revelation 11:13. In Revelation 11:13 we must recognize that the tenth and the seven thousand represent completeness or all. Notice the word "part" is italicized meaning it was not in the original script and realize also that the remnant are the remains of mankind which further validates the meaning of a tenth and the seven thousand as completeness. The remnant or the few that remain are those who did humble themselves unto the will of the LORD; so, His mercy continues unto them in their ending as they will not perish in the ensuing turmoil. The LORD continues in verse 10 saying "behold the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it". In these final two clauses of verse 10 we see the LORD telling us of the sentiments of the vast majority of unsaved mankind toward Him and consequently His will. So, because they will not accept His law, the LORD will blind their eyes and deafen their ears that they will never know His truth: Isaiah 28:11-13. We see in Isaiah 28:11 the LORD speaks to these people with "stammering lips and another tongue". These "stammering lips" are His word to the lost after He has deafened their ears as they will not be able to comprehend His truth: Isaiah 6:8-10. The phrase "another tongue" used in Isaiah 28:11 is referring to the parables through which the LORD will speak to them as, at this time, His word is no longer meant for them to understand: Mark 4:10-12; therefore, much of the LORD'S word is parabolic.

Jeremiah 6:11-12
Reading verses 11 and 12 we are reading of the anger of the LORD. Although this was the expression of His anger toward Judah we must realize Judah here represents the world today; so, because the LORD is the same yesterday, today and forever Hebrews 13:8 we can extrapolate His reaction then and apply it to these end times as we see the evidence of the blatant immutability of mankind, John 8:41-45, has put them on a collision course with the LORD. Lost mankind has been the same throughout all time as they have always worshiped whatever they would however they desired; they have always made their own gods to suit their sentiments. Once again knowing the LORD is using Jerusalem and Judah to represent the church and the world respectively we can see the end is inevitable and the LORD will use Satan to bring it to pass: Jeremiah 1:11-16. In Jeremiah 1:11 the "rod of an almond tree" shown to Jeremiah was to signify the whipping the LORD has in store for all those who will not heed His will; for they take His countless blessings and ignore His truth. In Jeremiah 1:12 we see the LORD has no intensions to change His plans for the lost. In Jeremiah 1:13 we see the LORD has shown Jeremiah the tool which He will use to punish lost mankind is Satan. We know this because the LORD shows Jeremiah "a seething pot; and the face thereof is towards the north". A seething pot is analogous to a caldron and because "the face thereof is toward the north" we know it represents Satan coming in all his anger: Isaiah 14:13. Anger because he has only a short time, Revelation 12:12, before the LORD will burn him with this world, Ezekiel 28:18, and Satan knows this. In Jeremiah 1:14 we see the LORD has instructed Satan to begin his onslaught and it continues in verse 15 where the LORD says "and against all the walls thereof round about". The walls here are the people of the church and this, beyond any doubt, has been proven: please see A Review of Jeremiah 5 in Jeremiah 5:9-7 and Lamentatons 2:7. In Jeremiah 1:16 we see the LORD will collect the debt that is due unto Him in the end. He will collect this debt from all those who take His blessings and go their own way ignoring His truth.

Jeremiah 6:13
"For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness." This is the LORD as He speaks of all lost mankind: Jude 8-13. Jude 8-13 exemplifies the same sentiments so, allow me to expound. In Jude 10 the LORD says "But these speak evil of those things which they know not". In this clause the reference to "these" is a reference to the "filthy dreamers" spoken of in Jude 8; these are all mankind however, the LORD does not forgive lost mankind. Speaking evil of things which they know not is characteristic of lost mankind; just as their father the devil: Jude 9. In Jude 9 we see Satan contends with the LORD, Michael the archangel, about the body of Moses; something he did not understand. However, as with the lost so too with Satan, the LORD will reserve his punishment until Judgment Day; "durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The LORD rebuke thee". At this time the LORD rebukes Satan and all those of Satan; however, on Judgment Day we know the LORD will require recompense of Satan and all those who took His countless blessings and ran their own way; Ezekiel 7:1-10. Jude 10 continues with"but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves". This clause ties in perfectly to Romans 1:24-32 where the LORD explains the plight of many today. The LORD continues with Jude 11 where He says"...for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward". Cain we know was the first murderer of mankind; he murdered his brother Abel giving us a glimpse of where the LORD is taking us. Continuing in the verse we must take notice of the LORD'S use of tense as He uses ran as opposed to run. This is a small clue telling us this has already played out and the LORD is simply sharing with us what has already happened. Although it represents the future for us the LORD has already seen it; as we must realize He exist outside of time. What does this mean? It means pray unceasingly as the LORD knows and has the power to change your life however He will if He will: 2 Kings 20:1-6. The LORD says mankind ran greedily after the error of Balaam and we know Balaam is a surname for Satan. Reading this we must ask, what was the error of Balaam? Ah we need look no further than Isaiah 14:12-15 to answer this question. One may ask, how does this relate to mankind? no man today has such grandiose delusions. No? I say look more closely and you'll see all men do. In every major endeavor where men are successful there is almost never any praise given to or even any mention of God. All the creation of the Godhead is now being attributed to the big bang theory, evolution and mother nature; please, spare me. We see this in nearly every aspect of life and particularly as it relates to science: medical, technical or research and development. Mankind has gone almost as far as possible to the edge and sooner than later they will go further than the LORD will tolerate as the vast majority already believe in a false god or no God. Realizing this we see the heart of man is truly as his father the devil, John 8:42-44, and all men do collectively is for a cash reward. The verse concludes telling us mankind will perish in the gainsaying, or the big talk, of Core. Core here is Korah who was one of the lost sons of Esau; the man by whom the LORD characterizes all lost mankind. In Jude 12the LORD is speaking of those today who He characterizes as Korah. He says they are twice dead, dead in both soul and body, as we are all dead to God unless and until we are born again in spirit, John 3:5-8, then and only then can our bodies rise on Judgment Day to meet our souls, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. For all those who live their entire lives dead in soul, when they die in body they are dead in soul and body and destine for that "blackness of darkness for ever".

The second clause of Jeremiah 6:13 reads "and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely". Please keep in mind the LORD is using Judah to tell us of the world and He speaks of then to tell us of today. Recognizing this we should comprehend the vast differences in religious beliefs and practices are lies. For there is only one God and consequently there can only be one true faith so, any and all other beliefs can only be lies put forth by those with a self-centered and incredibly limited view of life. Once you accept this it becomes obvious, the vast majority of the world is lost; whether they believe in a false god of no God at all the end result is the same: damnation. However the LORD has reserved the worse for the false teachers who trade His truth for a meager earthly profit as they will suffer the longest torment in the end and He will personally destroy them all: Revelation 19:21. It is this group the LORD is coming to destroy personally, and we can be sure horribly, as they will be those who suffer the longest and will experience the most agonizing demise of all mankind.

Jeremiah 6:14
In verse 14 we see the LORD as He speaks of the church leaders today, He says, "They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace". The "They" the LORD speaks of are the church leaders who make dealing with life without the LORD more bearable for the lost who don't want Him. Knowing the LORD changes one's perspective giving us purpose and therefore adding meaning to our lives, life without the Knowledge of the one true God is truly empty and we will attempt to fill our live with any and every meaningless thing comprehensible. This includes everything from getting high to chasing skirts on to the pursuit of all the money one can get; it's all a form of vanity. It ranges from the self-gratification of a man on to the self-proclamation of a man's worth; it's all vanity and it's all to no end. Unfortunately these are the pursuits of lost mankind for they do not know, neither do they desire to know, their true purpose is to serve God: not themselves. So, the church leaders heal their hurt slightly by telling their congregations what they desire to hear rather than the truth as the truth would cost the church its congregation. All this is done to assure the life of the church, and this is the sole purpose of the church leaders: Ezekiel 34:2-3. In Ezekiel 34:2-3 realize the shepherds the LORD speaks of are the church leaders and the flock is the congregation. Also notice in Ezekiel 34:3 the LORD says "ye kill them that are fed" and them that are fed are all those the LORD has given truth. We are killed by the shepherds as we are thrown out of the churches and therefore silenced before the congregations who didn't desire to hear us.

In Jeremiah 6:14 "...the daughter of my people" are all the earthly children of those chosen by God who are not chosen themselves. We know this because we do know Noah and his 3 son along with all their wives were saved. Therefore every man, woman and child is the daughter of God's people as Noah and all his family, the people from whom everyone after the flood came, were all God's people; however, prior to the flood all mankind excluding only the few elect belonged to Satan: Matthew 4:8-9. We know this because in Matthew 4:8-9 Satan shows the LORD the entire world including the people of it as he says "All these things will I give unto thee" and he could not give that which was not his. We know this also because both Adam and Eve, the progenitors of all mankind prior to the flood, were lost. We know too that all mankind are women because we are to be married to the LORD; hence, "the daughter of my people". We can also know these people are not saved because the LORD refers to them as the "the daughter of my people" as opposed to my chosen or my redeemed. Although there may be other titles the LORD gives unto His I know these titles are exclusive to the people of the LORD. However, "the daughter of my people" is exclusive to the lost souls of the world. The LORD completes the verse telling us "there is no peace" which is to say, among other things, the prophets and the priests or all the church leaders are liars. They are all misleading their congregations but, that is what the congregations want: Isaiah 30:9-11.

Jeremiah 6:15
"Were they ashamed when they had committed abominations? nay, they were not ashamed at all neither could they blush." This is the LORD speaking of the lies told by the priest whose current-day counterparts lie for monetary gain. Although profit was also a motivation in biblical time they may have been motivated even more by the esteemed social status of the priests. The LORD completes this verse with "therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD". This portion of the verse clearly relates to Lamentations 2:1-8 as the LORD is telling us in these verses of His intensions for all mankind. We will begin in Lamentations 2:1 where the LORD says "How hath the LORD covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in His anger?" This is to say the LORD will safeguard His chosen from the consequences of His wrath as He will cover the daughter of Zion, His chosen, with a cloud. He will then maintain this cloud over those who are not His chosen but did humble themselves unto His will, Isaiah 26:20-21, even after He has taken His chosen; safeguarding them through the end turmoil. The verse continues to say "and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel". The beauty of Israel is Satan as the Christ cast Satan down to the earth at the cross: Luke 10:18. The LORD refers to Satan as "the beauty of Israel" because Israel represents the world and the world aspires to please Satan not the LORD. This is evidenced in their idol worship, both material and intellectual. The verse closes with "and remembered not His footstool in the day of His anger". This is telling us the end is imminent as the earth is the footstool of the LORD: Isaiah 66:1. In Lamentations 2:2 we read "The LORD hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied". This is saying the LORD has begun global destruction "and hath not pitied" as He has touched everyone. By this time "the daughter of Zion" has already been taken to be with the LORD and "He hath thrown down in His wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah". "The daughter of Judah" or the "daughters of the world" are all those born to the "the daughter of Zion"; they are those whom the LORD did not save. Therefore, during the great destruction the daughter of Zion will be in heaven watching all that transpires while the daughters of the world will experience the wrath of God. Please remember Revelation 11:13 as no one is forced to suffer the torment of the end. The LORD gives everyone the opportunity to know His mercy, Isaiah 24:6, that they may be among the "...few men left". The "strong holds" the LORD will throw down are the churches of every faith; they will be thrown down as the end will take them by complete surprise simply because they refused to accept the "true" word of God. The final 2 clauses read "He hath bought them down to the ground: He hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof". The LORD has bought them down to the ground as He has taken all truth from them. He has polluted the congregations and all the church leaders as He allows them to go their own way believing as they will for they all refused His truth: Isaiah 28:11-13.

In Lamentations 2:3 we read "He hath cutoff in His fierce anger all the horn of Israel". This is to say the LORD has made Israel or the entire world weak, cutoff all the horn as in Daniel 8:3-8, before the enemy; and the enemy of the world is Satan. The LORD continues saying "He hath drawn back His right hand from before the enemy" which is to say the LORD has given Satan the directive to bludgeon mankind; for if not held back, that is what Satan will do. The LORD completes the verse with"and He burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about". Jacob here is not the chosen but, the children of the chosen whom the LORD also refers to as Jacob; they are all those who are lost to the LORD. Therefore the LORD burns in His anger against them and He will send Satan to do His will unto them.

In Lamentations 2:4 we are reading of the truly fierce anger of the LORD as He has promised to show no mercy to those who hate Him. Yes, hate Him; for many profess "I love the LORD" but, if you look at their lives you'll see they do not. The LORD defines the true love of Him in John 14:21; so, if in His commandments He says the priests and the prophets lie then you cannot love the LORD and your preacher too. In Matthew 6:24 the LORD tells us "No man can serve two masters". This is simply saying if you truly love, honor and obey the LORD you will have no other before Him: Exodus 20:3. However, reading the Bible with even a minimal understanding you must recognize the priests and the prophets, all the church leaders of today, are running contrary to the LORD. Do you love the LORD, or do you love your preacher?

In Lamentations 2:5 the first 2 clauses read "The LORD was an enemy: He hath swallowed up Israel, He hath swallowed up all her palaces". Reading this we see Israel, or the world, no longer has the blessing of the LORD; instead they have made themselves an enemy of the LORD. The consequence of which is the LORD has swallowed the entire world, including the churches or "her palaces"Hosea 8:7-9. Now we'll take a brief look at these verses in Hosea. In verse 7 the LORD says "For they have sown the wind" which is the LORD saying mankind has chosen not to hear Him, but to go their own way; the end result of which is nothing: wind. The LORD continues this clause with "and they shall reap the whirlwind". In many places in the Bible the LORD has come as a whirlwind to speak to His servants, as in Job 38:1; however, there are other times the LORD has sent the whirlwind to deal with His enemies as in Jeremiah 23:9-32. In these verses we see the LORD is angered by the profane prophets and priest who lie in His name. In Jeremiah 23:19-20 the LORD tells us of His consequent anger and the whirlwind that will consequently come upon all lost mankind. This is the same whirlwind the LORD speaks of in Hosea 8:7. Hosea 8:7 continues with "it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal". In these two clauses the LORD is metaphorically speaking of the lost. He says "it hath no stalk" which mean the lost are as tumble weeds blown about following whatever comes along. They are not rooted in God's truth so, they are not rooted. The LORD says "the bud shall yield no meal" which means their offspring shall amount to nothing and "if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up" means any that should be of any use the LORD will make them void. In Hosea 8:8 the LORD opens with "Israel is swallowed up" which says Israel has been dethroned as the LORD'S people. Transferring this to now with Israel representing the world of today the dethroning of Israel actually represents the destruction of the world. In verse 9 we see the reason for verse 8 as the LORD says "For they have gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself". As we have shown previously Assyria represents Satan and Israel, the world, has gone in the way of Satan. The LORD characterizes lost mankind as "a wild ass" and the ass is alone by himself as the LORD has taken all who are His and the wild asses are all that is left. In the last clause we see "Ephraim hath hired lovers" and Ephraim is just as Israel as they simply represent more of lost mankind who also go their own way; although they go a different way, where a different way represents a religious belief of their own, none go in the way of the LORD. Their "lovers" are Satan and his demons as they presently come in the desires of this world but, in the end their one true motivation will be obvious: Jeremiah 4:30.

Moving back to Lamentations the second clause of verse 5 reads "He hath destroyed her strong holds" and we know the strongholds of the world are their religious beliefs. Please realize where a person puts their trust or their belief that is their stronghold. It may be in a church or it may be in an idol or it could be in them selves as is the case with those who have no religious affiliation. Ultimately the LORD has written off all those souls who refused His will and He knew them before the foundation of the world so, they will receive less and ever less from Him until their lives become a living hell. One suffering with AIDS, hepatitis or any of the other debilitating diseases will grow worse and ever worse until he is bedridden and knows only pain and suffering; this, ladies and gentlemen, is that point we all call hell. Hell is not a place where one goes after death to suffer forever as the LORD has no need to do that. He will simply allow one to languish and suffer in this life on until their end, as the LORD wills, I believe He will pull them out of this time continuum and bring them into His where there is no time and suffering there is forever regardless of the amount of time in this world; when they have paid the debt due Him He will then returning them to die forevermore: death in soul and body. The verse continues with "and hath increased in the daughter of Judah morning and lamentation". We see the increase in morning and lamentation with the increase in all the diseases, sicknesses and weaknesses that have come upon the world; as many of the ailments that could have been cured years ago, cannot be cured today. We see financial problems as they engulf the entire world and the medical and financial problems are only the proverbial tip of the iceberg as all types of negative social issues are growing and further complicating the scenario.

In Lamentations 2:6 we read "And He hath violently taken away His tabernacle", or the church, and this has occurred in our time. This is the reason I and many others can read the LORD'S word and recognize His truth as it has been written, but not recognized, for nearly two thousand of years. The LORD is giving truth to His chosen and those who will heed His will. Therefore, the time has come; the LORD has determined to take His truth unto the world by a different means. The second clause reads "He hath destroyed His place of assembly" and we all know "His place of assembly" was the church; the verse continues with "the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and Sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion" and we also know Zion represents those chosen of God or the LORD'S kingdom. Therefore, we are being told the chosen of God are not to attend churches of any faith. The verse closes with "and hath despised in the indignation of His anger the king and the priest". The king here is Satan and the priests here are all the religious leaders who teach the lies, the strange apparel or the false covering, for an earthly profit to a multitude who want to hear the lies: Zephaniah 1:8.

Jeremiah 6:16-17
In the first sentence of verse 16 the LORD is telling unsaved mankind to humble themselves and seek His way; unfortunately, as we have seen countless times in the Bible, lost mankind responds saying "We will not walk therein". Here the LORD shows us the nature of lost mankind once again and we should come to expect this from countless other verses in the Bible: Jeremiah 44:15-19. In verse 17 we see yet again the LORD attempts to guide a people who refuse His will. We must keep in mind the LORD will only give each individual one opportunity to heed His will; therefore, what we are reading in these two verses is comparable to the LORD bringing the opportunity to many different people at different times in their lives. No one can know when the call is coming or even if it has already come but, we can be sure the call will only come once: please see Hebrews 10:26. Hebrews 10:26 is saying the LORD will expose those who are not His chosen to His truth and at some given time after that He will appeal to them only once. If they acknowledge and accept His appeal they will humble themselves to His will; but, if they will turn going their own way they have made themselves an enemy unto the LORD: Jeremiah 38:14-23; consequently, there will not come another opportunity to humble themselves unto the LORD: Jeremiah 39:2-9.

Jeremiah 6:18-19
In verse 18 the LORD is preparing to give the world, including all the churches, insight into His plan for them all. Please read verse 19 as it is giving us the meaning of what we see in the world today. "Hear, O earth" is telling us the LORD is speaking to all mankind. He continues saying "behold I will bring an evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts". Looking at the world today we can see where the "fruit of their thoughts" is once again only evil continually: Genesis 6:5. Consider first the Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's) men put in nearly half of all the vegetables, grains, meat, and fish sold today. The general public has been misguided as they believe this practice is to increase quantity when it is actually done to increase control and maximize profit. The multinational companies responsible for the manufacturing and use of the GMO's are also the manufacturers of the drugs sold for treatment of the conditions developed consequent to the use of GMO's. Ultimately no one knows, yet, what the long-range consequences of this may be: or do we? As this has been going on since the early to mid 90's and we now have diseases that were once treatable and now they are not. It's believed this is a consequence of the multitude of antibiotics routinely given to all livestock. Consider the practice of Hydraulic Fracturing now done by the oil companies to get oil and natural gas. The consequences of this practice are far reaching and include poisonous wastewater, radon, chemical contamination of drinking water, air contamination from the evaporation of waste water runoff combined with flaring and it's all leading to the long latency of many illnesses that will overcome everyone subjected to this kind of environment. In addition to the aforementioned consequences of "the fruit of their thoughts" there are a multitude of social ills I have not even mentioned compounded by the proliferation of economic problems throughout the world today; all "because they have not harkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it".

Jeremiah 6:20
In the first sentence of this verse we see the LORD is angered by the feigned religious practices of mankind. In the second sentence He says "your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me". Since we now know the LORD is speaking to mankind today, we should also realize mankind no longer has the blessing of the LORD. When the LORD speaks of offerings and sacrifices He is specifically speaking of the church as the tithes and offerings of the church are supposed to be a sacrifice unto Him. Unfortunately today this has long been forgotten, but this was the original intent as the minister was intended to be a man of God; therefore, a tithe given to him was to be distributed among the less fortunate: Nehemiah 13:10-14. Unfortunately, today is as Nehemiah 13:10 as no minister really has a care about the needs of his congregation beyond the church doors and it is all to be expected as the LORD is no longer in the church.

In Isaiah 28:7-16 the LORD is speaking of all the church leaders, the scornful men, who lead the people in Jerusalem which is a representation of the churches; please allow me to explain. In Jeremiah 6:20 the LORD is angered by mans insolently contemptuous behavior toward Him and His law; and because we know the LORD knows all things, Isaiah 46:8-11, we are able to comprehend exactly what He is saying in Isaiah 28:7-16. Let's walk through these verses so we will all understand. In Isaiah 28:7 we see the LORD clearly speaking of the church leaders. Throughout the entire verse the LORD is saying they are all liars. In the final clause He sums the verse up as He says "They err in vision, they stumble in judgment".

In Isaiah 28:8 we read "For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean". In this verse the LORD is telling us all the churches are lost as they all have their own gospels and none are true to His word. In verse 9 the LORD identifies His chosen as He says "Whom shall He teach knowledge? and whom shall He make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts". These are all those who have been called and chosen as all mankind are called but, only those elect of God from before the foundation of the world will be chosen: Ephesians 1:4-5. In verse 10 the LORD tells us exactly how He prepares His chosen to take His word unto this world. Verse 10 reads "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little". The LORD is telling us here He will teach His a little at a time. In verse 11 we see how the LORD speaks to the lost as He says "For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people". We know this is His communication to those who are lost because in Isaiah 44:18-20 the LORD tells us so. He says in Isaiah 44:18 "for He hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand"; consequently we see the meaning of "stammering lips and another tongue" as they will not see nor comprehend His truth. In Isaiah 28:12 the LORD is telling us of His call to a people on whom He wanted to have mercy; if they would only heed His call He would safeguard them in the end that they would be among the few men left: Isaiah 24:6. Then He would lay them to rest without the torment to come in the end; even those who will not see the end would enjoy a much better life and a much easier death. In Isaiah 28:13 we see the LORD does bring His truth to all mankind as all mankind are called; however, only the elect and very few others will heed the call. The majority of mankind will "go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken"Isaiah 28:14 continues with "Wherefore here the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem". Knowing the LORD is using Jerusalem to represent the churches today and Judah to represent the world of today we can safely surmise His mention of "...ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem" is regarding the church leaders. The LORD moves on to verse 15 where He says "Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hide ourselves". This is exactly what the churches believe as they completely ignore and overlook the truth of the Bible and put their faith in a god that is a mere manifestation of their imaginations. This verse comes, word for word, from the King James Bible and is therefore the true word of God. The LORD says mankind believe they have "made a covenant with death" and an agreement with hell; both of which are beyond the capability of any man as all things are in the hand of the LORD. The congregations, believing what they want rather than what the LORD has written, will find themselves "...broken and snared, and taken" in their end: 2 Peter 2:4-17. Allow me a momentary digression as a very relevant point comes into view. In 2 Peter 2:4notice the LORD says "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment": interesting verse. Realize Satan and his demons were cast down to earth, with us, at the cross as Jesus tells us in Luke 10:18 and again in Revelation 12:9-12; hence, once again we see the LORD is giving us the answer to the question "what or where is hell"? There will be no hell to come with torment forevermore as hell is not a place, but it is the state of being which God will bring unto all those who are lost to Him: diseases, financial problems and all the ills of this life. The LORD continues with Isaiah 28:16 where He says "...Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste". We know the LORD is speaking of His chosen as He says "he that believeth" as only the chosen will understand and believe; so, as He says we "shall not make haste" He is saying we will always wait on Him; but the lost will not heed His will, consequently He will be for a stone of stumbling unto both the lost in and outside the church: Isaiah 8:13-15. Taking a brief look at these verses we see in Isaiah 8:13 the LORD is speaking to His chosen as He says "and let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread". The LORD could only be speaking to His chosen as the lost don't acknowledge Him. He opens verse 14 as He continues speaking to His chosen, He says"And He shall be for a sanctuary". This is the sanctuary to come in the end of the earthly lives of all the LORD'S chosen. Our Lord GOD here is also speaking to those who are not saved but do and will humble themselves unto His will. However, as the LORD continues in verse 14 we see He opens the second sentence with a conjunction which is to say conversely there is another group. The first group is His and those who will heed His will while the second group is composed of all those who will go their own way. Of the second group the LORD says "But for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel". "Both the houses of Israel" here represent all those in the churches and those outside the churches as all but those chosen are lost. He continues saying "for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense" and this is the LORD speaking to those lost with stammering lips and another tongue as they desired not to heed His will; so, in return He will blind their eyes and deafen their ears that none will ever comprehend truth: Matthew 15:10-14. This blindness is the gin and the snare to all those in Jerusalem: the churches. In the final clause of Isaiah 8:14 we see the LORD telling us a gin is synonymous with a snare. Having already explained Isaiah 8:14 should make Isaiah 8:15 crystal clear.

Jeremiah 6:21
In verse 21 we see the LORD'S plan for all those who run against His will; all those who ignore the truth of the one true God and go their own way. The LORD intends to bring trouble into their lives as He says "I will lay stumbling blocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them". This is the plan of the LORD for all His servants who refuse to serve Him: who refuse to live as He desires. The stumbling blocks will be throughout the lives of this people from the time they refuse to humble themselves to the will of the LORD until their end when the LORD will collect payment for all they have ungratefully received. The last clause in the verse continues to say "the neighbor and his friend shall perish". This is the ultimate end of all those who were not chosen of the LORD and refused to humble themselves to His will; but, the remnant that do humble themselves will not experience the torment of the end: Revelation 11:13. All mankind, whether we are elect or not, are the servants of the most high God and to serve another, Satan is the only other we can serve, makes one an unprofitable servant due commensurate compensation: Matthew 25:26-30. In this life mankind, excluding the elect of God, is given the choice of masters. They may humble themselves to the will of the LORD or they may go their own way. If they chose to go their own way they have chosen to follow Satan as every man is a servant and every servant must have a master. In this life there is only one way to have the blessing of the LORD but, there are many ways to follow Satan: Matthew 7:13-14. Reading this we must now look at Matthew 25:28-30. This is the LORD explaining parabolically His distribution of the knowledge of Him and the countless blessings that accompany it. In verse 28 we see the LORD says "Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents". This is the LORD distributing the wisdom, understanding and knowledge of Him unto mankind and unfortunately only those chosen and very few others value these blessings; so, the LORD takes them away from those who do not value them and, to value them is to take them unto the world without cost: Isaiah 55:1-3. Just as the LORD takes He also gives and He will give these people blindness that they will not see and deafness that they will not recognize His truth. In verse 29 the LORD explains this as He says "For unto everyone that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath". In the aforementioned clause we are reading of all those the LORD is preparing for the judgment to come in verse 30. In verse 30 the LORD says "And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth". This is the life and death of all those who will not heed the will of the LORD. He will grant them life, health and strength until they refuse His will. When they refuse His will they will have refused Him in lieu of the lure of the world: Satan; making themselves enemies of the LORD: Luke 16:13. So the LORD will take any true knowledge of Him away from these people as He will begin to speak to them with stammering lips and another tongue that they will be prepared for their end: Isaiah 28:11-13. It is during their lives when these people will experience the "outer darkness" the LORD speaks of as these people will be without the true knowledge of Him; then in their end they will "...fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken" as they will be dead forevermore in soul and body.

Jeremiah 6:22-23
In verse 22 the LORD says "...Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised up from the sides of the earth". As we read these verses we must keep in mind the LORD is telling us what happened to Israel and Judah as they are the placeholders for the world of today. Therefore, the overthrow of Judah by Babylon parallels the fall of this world to Satan in the end. With this fact in mind we will look at verse 22 as the LORD tells of the people from the North Country. Once again we know from Isaiah 14:13 when the LORD speaks of the north it could be a reference to Satan but, we must review the relevant text to make that determination. Here we know that it is Babylon the LORD is referring to and Babylon, as did the entire world excluding only Israel and Judah, represented Satan: Deuteronomy 7:6-8. So we know the LORD is speaking of Satan bringing the end of the world as Babylon, that great nation from the north which overthrew Judah in 587 B.C. This nation is a representation of Satan who is to destroy the world in our time; remember though, ultimately it's the LORD who creates so it will be the LORD who destroys but, He will send Satan to do it. Once again in verse 23 we can clearly see although the LORD is speaking of Judah we know He is speaking of all those lost in the world today: "...O daughter of Zion". Please know the LORD is referencing Judah as He says "daughter of Zion" and because Judah is the world, "daughter of Zion" represents the world while those saved are Zion. Knowing the LORD is speaking parabolically we look again at the whole verse and we see He says "and they ride upon horses, set in array as men of war against thee, O daughter of Zion". This is the LORD telling us of the end to come. They that ride upon horses are Satan and his demons and they come as men of war against the daughter of Zion. The daughter of Zion are to represent the children of God's chosen; remember Noah, his 3 sons and all of their wives were saved. Consequently, all mankind are the daughter of Zion as everyone after the flood came forth from Noah and his family. Although Noah and all his family were saved, Noah and his wife came from the lost people before the flood; so their children, although saved themselves, were destine to bring forth the lost. Once we recognize these facts we look back at verse 23 and it's clear the LORD here is describing Satan and his demons as He will unleash them upon the world.

Jeremiah 6:24
In verse 24 the LORD is telling us of the dread to overcome all mankind once the end is imminent and all hope is lost; however, even in their end mankind will not humble themselves unto the LORD: Revelation 16:8-9. In Revelation 16:8-9 notice the horrible scorching of men comes from the LORD. This contradicts the current theological rendition of the end as it is the LORD not Satan who will scorch men with fervent heat. Realize also that this will occur in this life and Satan along with all lost mankind will be destroyed in soul and body: Ezekiel 28:12-19 and Isaiah 10:15-19.Ezekiel 28:18-19 is self-explanatory as it tells of Satan's eternal end. I would also like to bring your attention to Ezekiel 28:12 where the LORD identifies Satan as the "king of Tyrus" as Tyrus is representative of the lost world of which Satan is king. Take note also of Isaiah 10:17-18 where the LORD is telling us of the destruction of all lost mankind. Remember, the LORD speaks parabolically as He tells us these things because many are not meant to believe Him. So, in verse 17 He says "And it shall burn and devour His thorns and His briers in one day" which is to say on Judgment Day the LORD will destroy all lost mankind. The LORD continues in verse 18 with "And shall consume the glory of His forest, and of His fruitful field, both soul and body". The only beings on earth, "His fruitful field", with a soul are human beings; therefore, the LORD will destroy everyone on earth on that day in both soul and body. In Isaiah 10:19 we are reading of the "few men left" spoken of in Isaiah 24:6 and Revelation 11:13. These are the very few who are not elect of God but, acknowledge Him as LORD and Savior and will attempt to live a life pleasing unto Him. So in their end they will see the torment that is to come upon the people of the world; but, they will not experience it. They will be laid to rest comfortably without pain or suffering and this is to be the end of all those who humble themselves before the LORD.

Jeremiah 6:25
In verse 25 the LORD is telling the world there will be no escaping His wrath; for in the end ultimately He will be the enemy of all the world: James 4:4. In James 4:4 the LORD refers to mankind as "adulterers and adulteresses" as they are all married to Him and their "friendship with the world" is an affair with Satan.

Jeremiah 6:26
In verse 26 the LORD opens with "O daughter of my people"; this means the children of my chosen who were not chosen themselves. The LORD continues with "gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes". In this clause and the clause to follow the LORD is telling the world to lament; in the final clause He states why. He says in the final clause "for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us". Here the LORD is telling mankind, in the voice of Jeremiah, of His intent to bring Satan as the destroyer upon the world and Isaiah 10:5-7 echoes the exact sentiments. In Isaiah 10:5 we see the LORD using Assyria, another lost nation, to represent Satan and in verse 6 He uses the phrase "a hypocritical nation" to denote this lost world. Notice also in verse 6 the LORD says "I will send him against a hypocritical nation". We can be sure the LORD knows proper speech so, if He is speaking about all Assyria why didn't He say them? This is because He is not speaking about Assyria at all as Assyria here is only a placeholder for Satan. If you will read all of Isaiah 10 you will see it is telling us of the LORD'S judgment of the world.

Jeremiah 6:27
Here the LORD is saying He has selected His chosen to be "a tower and a fortress" among the people of the world. As we take His word, His will, unto the world we are acting as the watch tower for the world. We are a fortress protected by the Godhead and it has been given unto us to take His word to the world that as many as may hear will know the will of the LORD. If they heed His will they will know His mercy; if they refuse His will they will know His wrath. Therefore we are to be the LORD'S stronghold, His fortress, in this world until He tells us "come up hither"Revelation 11:4-12.

Jeremiah 6:28
In verse 28 we see the LORD'S opinion of all the world excluding only His. He says "They are all grievous revolters" and He characterizes them as "brass and iron". The first quote speaks for itself however, the second quote is not as clear. Since the LORD is speaking of people who "are all corrupters" we can know we must look at the negative aspects of brass and iron and one thing jumps forth: they don't mix well. Brass and iron, particularly of poor quality, will not blend well. This could be the reason the LORD uses these elements in this analogy. Therefore He characterizes these people as brass and iron because of the continuous conflicts amongst mankind. Obviously they will never blend consequent to the fall from grace orchestrated by Adam, Eve and Satan; it is this fall from grace that has introduced the multitudes of dross found in the world today: Ezekiel 22:17-22.

Jeremiah 6:29-30
In verse 29 the LORD explains the plight of the world as He says "the founder melteth in vain". The LORD here is saying the world must run the course as sin cannot be extracted. It has taken hold of the vast majority of the world and it is contagious as it will spread to consume all but a very few who have not been chosen from before the foundation of the world.

In verse 30 we see the LORD has rejected all the "reprobate silver" as He will only have mercy on a very few while the rest will know His wrath: Revelation 11:4-13.
