Only Jesus is worthy

Only Jesus is worthy

Let us face it , we Christians love our churches. We believe we are right. We participate in debates, forums, we shout our testimony, we write blogs, we counsel. We claim we are living our Christian life. But do we really live it ?

There is a verse that really scares me, Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven..

What then is the will of the Father ?to forgive (Matthew 6:14), confess Jesus before men (Matthew 10:32),obey (Matthew 21:31-32).

Only Jesus has obeyed fully the Father. All of us has failed, all has sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Is there hope for us ? Yes there is through faith (real faith) in Jesus Christ. Jesus takes our unrighteousness through our repentance and give us His righteousness. He then took the penalty for our sins.

Shall we go back in sin ? God forbid. The Bible says Walk in the Spirit and we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

My brothers and sisters in the Lord, let us hang on to Jesus more so now and forevermore for who knows His coming may be very soon, sooner than we could imagine.

You are right Ped...we all fall short... Thats why we put our faith in "HIS" faith to have assurance and He is true to His word.. He will never leave or forsake us. He will complete what He has started in us. Phil. 1:6

Blessings

All believers who do not fully obey our Lord are living within their own unknown darkness. "And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him, Hebrews 5:9 -- so exactly what does disobedience mean? "And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— Ephesians 2:1-2

The god of this world works within all who do not obey our Lord through living in faith by His every word. Where is the love and compassion of believers worldwide as commanded by Christ in John 13:34? Is Christ not the Head of His body of believers being the only true church of God? Are we not to only follow our Head as written? Where did Christ reveal His birthday? Where did Christ say to buy fifts, get a tree and decorate it? When did Christ instruct easter or any other holidays all people worldwide associate with? He never had any part, yet a world of believers do while not even knowing God through very cold hearts that know Him not.

Whats the bottom line?

"The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.  For God will bring every deed into judgment, with  every secret thing, whether good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

To Jeffcc,

I have been trying to understand your message. You seem to have no distinction between believers and unbelievers. You keep saying no one helped you but my question is how come you are still alive today ? Yes you can quote Scriptures but all about disobedience, don't the Word of God be a word of hope for us sinners ?Is Jesus Christ really your Lord and Savior ? I do not seem to see love and hope in your messages ? If Jesus is really your Lord and Savior, then learn to forgive and love others, and write a blog about it.

And he said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.” And as he spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me. And he said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to nations of rebels, who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me to this very day. The descendants also are impudent and stubborn: I send you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ And whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house) they will know that a prophet has been among them. And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions. Be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house. And you shall speak my words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house.

“But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Be not rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.” And when I looked, behold, a hand was stretched out to me, and behold, a scroll of a book was in it. And he spread it before me. And it had writing on the front and on the back, and there were written on it words of lamentation and mourning and woe. (Ezekiel 2:1-10)

To Jeffcc,

You quote totally from Ezekiel. May I suggest you quote also from Jesus Christ who you claim is your Lord, quote also from Paul, James, and Peter and John.Once again put some hope and love in your message instead of message of just  doom and gloom and self pity.

There are 31, 240 verses in the Holy Bible, and in my many hundreds of writings through many years I have always used many verses from different books with a very large variety scripture all depending on the subject. In Matthew 7:1-6 our Lords words teach not to judge as you have judged me. My words to all believers they don't like place me exactly where our Lord put me years ago as written in John 15:18-21. Therefore I run the race set before me (Hebrews 12:1-2) while accepting your words as a scorpion just as you read in Ezekiel. I will not argue with you because its wrong; therefore just as Christ asked the Father to forgive those who crucified Him because they knew not what they do (Luke 23:34), I also forgive you for your hateful judgment against me because I expected it along with your actions that God sees. You take care by brother, and feel free to speak and judge just as you please because I shall no longer associate with your persecution. Thank you for your kind heart and kind words just as the body of Christ is meant to be.

The first time I encountered you , you are already calling everybody "scorpions", now you are trying to show that you are defending. When you called everybody " scorpions", what is that ? a compliment ? You called my inquiry, a "hateful judgment", and you call my effort to seek the truth as "persecution" ? See you do not have kind words to say about the body of Christ. What I see is you are against those who believe the Bible, you use the Bible against us, but you have not been fair and truthful with your declarations. Repent while you still have time.
