Hosea 10:12 ¨ 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek theLord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.¨
Every single human being has a ground to cultivate. Ever from the genesis the Lord had commanded that man must till the ground before he can feed. Therefore we need to seek God personally to break forth into our glorious tomorrow. Shortly after the fall of a man greater tasks was assigned to us;
Genesis 3:16-19¨16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return¨
The consequences of Sin are so powerful and Poisonous, the Host of heaven rejected Jesus Christ on the Cross. Heaven desire our prosperity but few that knows the channel to break their fallow ground(s).
Three key to seek the face of God.
1.Sow to yourself in Righteousness:- this implies to stop sinning and start to do what is righteous; there are things that are right but not righteous. Whatever you do you shall reap, it is a principle that cannot be ignore.
2 Corinthians 9:6¨ 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.¨Galatians 6:7-9¨7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.¨
2.Reap in Mercy:- this means to accept and appropriate the mercy of God extended to you. If you don´t accept mercy from God it will not be yours. Know this that both sowing in righteous and reaping in mercy are your responsibility. Matthew 5:7, Mark 11:25-26.
3.Break up your fallow ground:- the fallow ground is that which has been lowed but not sown; the ground not in use. The fallow ground in the life of many can be vision not written down, ideals not utilizes, story that are not told, novels in the heart, drama that are not play etc. That little talent you thought is of no use can become bigger tomorrow. Secondly our heart must be broken if we want to receive from God. The word of God we receive and obey produces an increase of fruit in us.
James 1:18-21¨18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls¨ What we hear and speak can endanger your life; therefore learn how to speak good words into your life and filter what you hear.
1.Continually dwelling under God shadow.
2.Never owe God:- if you steal from God you create a vacuum for the enemy to steal from you. Pay your tithes, offerings and vows
3.Monitor your dream.
4.Prayerfully cancel any contrary dream.
5.Feed on God words and live by it daily.
6.Associate yourself with those that will build your destiny. People around can change your live positively or negatively.
2 Corinthians 6:13-1813 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
