Isaiah 43:1-3. Every one of us goes through the storms of life. None is exempted. A storm is a violent weather, often in the form of a strong wind. Storms of life come in form of mountains, barriers, hindrances, long standing problems, barrenness, poverty, lack, failures, and heavy challenges. Yes it‘s true that storms do come our way unannounced, the good news is, no storm is strong enough to resist God‘s Presence! All storms bow to the Presence of God. Ps 90:1-2

The 3 Grades of Storms:

1.   Artificial Storms: This type is originated by the devil. It is fake, false and stimulated storms. Examples are Pharaoh killing babies in order to destroy the destiny of Moses (Exo. 1:22); Haman and Mordecai (Est. 3:5-6); Paul and Silas and a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination (Acts 16:16-40).

2.   Natural Storms: These are the expected challenges and problems of life. May be act of nature. They are usually a result of envy and jealous from others. Examples are Joseph been sold out into slavery by his brothers; and King Saul and David.

3.   Supernatural Storms: these are the unusual happenings and occurrence by God for His Name to be glorified. They are authorized by God so that you can be purified as gold. An example is the case of Job.

As a believer, cease from looking down on anyone going through a stormy period, if you can‘t pray or encourage them by your words or keep your mouth shut!

How Do We Survive The Storms Of Life.

1.   Be bold, fear less with faith: He has said ―I will never leave you nor forsake you.

2.   Be patient, stand strong and hold on to God. Don‘t lose your temper; leave vengeance to God.

3.   Don‘t get yourself discouraged. Discouragement is the greatest tool of the devil.

4.    Get Wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to see God‘s perceptive and know the best course of action to take.

5.   Pray. 2 Chronicle 32: 20-23

6.   Meditate and speak the Word of God.

7.   Be thankful and grateful because He is Faithful. Murmuring & complaining will do you no good.
