As a Christian who attends church, I also had the opportunity to earn a living as a Power plant operator. The church is a gathering of believers who have the same belief. I have been to Catholic churches, Baptist churches and Pentecostal churches. Most churches I have been all believe in the Triune God, the Father, the Son , and the Holy Spirit. God is pretty much the subject of the Bible, so anyone who would like to learn more should read the Bible. God is One and that is what the Israelites or Jews believe as written in the Old Testament. Then Jesus appeared in the New Testament and when Jesus returned to heaven He sent the Holy Spirit to be with churches. All in all, God is revealed as three Persons in the Bible, often called the Trinity.
Now back to the subject, churches should be listening to God through the Spirit, if not problems will tend to arise.Same thing in a power plant where we have alarms to warn us of developing problems.Sometimes alarms could be annoying that there is a temptation to block or ignore alarms. Churches could be the same way where they will be tempted to set aside listening to the Spirit and turn to man's ideas which could be attractive.
This blog is just a reminder for churches to constantly listen to the Spirit just as operators watch their alarm boards. Please understand I am not judging anyone .
