As we go into the year, it‘s critically important that we begin to envision and see with the eye of faith the things God has promised to do in our lives. It is a rule with God; you must first see it before you get it. Isa 60:1 ―Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
A young girl followed her father to the town meeting for prayer for God to send down rains on their farms. After the prayer meeting, her father asked her why was she holding an umbrella? She replied; it´s going to rain before we get home. They all laughed at her. Few minutes, it started raining, they all got soaked but she was protected. That little girl saw with her eyes of faith.
Abraham the father of faith and all other Prophets of God had to first see with the eyes of faith before God made His promises come to pass in their lives. If you can‘t see progress coming your way, you cannot attain progress.
How To “See” With The Eye Of Faith?
1.Fear Not!Fear will kill you plans, desire and put you on the same spot. Job said the thing he feared most had come upon him (Job 3:25). Fear attracts whatever you are afraid of; Faith also attracts things that you trust God for. Just like God told Abraham in Gen 15:1 – fear not, I am your abundant compensation; He is telling you the same today.
2.Foresight. You need to see success and promotion coming you way. For better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof. In Numbers 13, 10 the 12 spies could not see beyond their circumstance but the other two saw beyond the giants in the land, and were thus able to possess the land despite the giants. God never changes, if He promised, He will keep it. Dan 2:21.Esther approached the King in the eyes of Faith.
3.Confession:- what you confess is probably what you get. What do you say to the mountains of financial crisis, the infirmity, disappointment that comes your ways. Job kept saying positive confession despite his challenges and God changed his circumstances.
How to Arise Again.
1.Hearken To The Voice Of God – Deut. 28:1
2.Open Your Ears To Discipline - Job 36:10
3.Obey And Serve Him:- Service unto the LORD not unto man. Serve Him with your body, your money. If you do this you will spend your days in prosperity. Job 36:11-12.
4.The Word of God:- Like multi-vitamins, the Word of God must be your daily dose in life. Jos 1:8. The Word of God guides, leads and protects.
5.Waiting:-You need patience. Many times we jump before our time and the end of such is always disaster; may this not be your portion in Jesus Name! Job 14:14.
6.Praise and worship:- Psalms 147:1-6 ¨Praise ye theLord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.2 TheLorddoth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.6 TheLordlifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground¨Our worship is the meal we render to God. Many do not understand the power of praise and worship in the ministry. If you missed it your service is not acceptable.
7.Prayer:- you cannot do without prayers. Prayer is the strength of a Christian and the letter you write to God. Nehemiah 4:9Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.
