The holy father has to be the leader of the Anglican church. I don't follow the churchs much but it wasn't peter who went to the cross with Jesus, it was John. When Jesus looked down at John he said . behold John, thy mother and it was mary he was talking about. The Catholic church was given the foundations but it was John who completed the church. It was John that was most loved and I'm not sure but I think John became the protestant church and Anglican church. The first city in the new world was St Johns NFLD. I bet the first church was the church of St John. My mother was an Anglican and I was christened Anglican but never went to church. I'm not judging churchs , just showing you. Sorry catholic crussader but Peter was given the teachings to put the world in judgement. So Peter was the father but not the holy father, John was. When the holy bible was translated into english by King James ,the athority of Peter was over. At that time it had to be king James who was the anointed of God.Then out of him or his seed had to come John's church.
