Default The River.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes from the word of God, The word of God comes to us like a river. It flowes to you steady and keeps flowing. Sometimes i try force the river to flow faster. Don't work. It lets you grow in faith and you begin to build upon the word. It builds upon itself. Then when you read you catch things you never saw. The word changes meaning and then you have to keep building on it and you grow stronger and stronger. You have to go through every teaching seven times. Everything links togeather.Like you have to find thre missing links. Like this. When God created heaven and earth the earth was void. The remember it says Gods word does not go out void. Then you link them togeather and it means ,there was no word. Then God said let there be light. Well, you get it. Then you begin to realize the word interprets itself. Man cannot do this. God exalts whom he chooses. The river comes from the throne of God. It is not a river of water. It really means teachings flowing with God's influence from above. I'm hopping now that this is happening to several of us here.

The river flows, first cleansing us from the filth of our own walks, and then filling us up with the goodness of God.

And out of your belly too! Oh I was not angered at the word about "the filth of our ways!"....Because truly, truly, the flesh profits nothing, and there is none good, no not one, "in" the flesh, but there is something Very Good in the Spirit! So it occurs to me...no use yelling at the flesh because it's totally hopeless; it has no power to stand up and be righteous so that God will inhabit it...and call it righteous? If we are looking at the outward...forget it! God looks on the heart...he divides asunder the flesh and heart and while mortality looks at what is visible, God looks at the invisible motives of our heart! So if we think we have the truth, God judges, who looks at and sees our "Motives" for these truths we speak, amen?
