That said even those saved from before Christ's physical death were saved by grace - the sacrifice of animals never saved (removed sin from) anyone. That is from Scripture.
The point of salvation is that man can not make it on his own, not possible for anyone from Adam on. We must all come by GRACE through Jesus Christ our Lord which is why the Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world so all are covered from beginning to end - then in the fullness of time the actual physical sacrifice was made. But God being outside of time understood it to have happened before we knew it did.
There is One God, One Sacrifice, On plan of Salvation for all time - from the Lamb slain before the foundations of the earth and it is all in GRACE as no human can get to God any other way - the Law never saved but pointed to the need of a Savior. This is clearly shown in the sacrificial system of the OT, it is just we are not taught the meaning that is there.
There are many covenants mentioned in Scripture, but not sure the ones you mention are in affect for Christians today (or even which ones you specifically are mentioning as you didn't specify...) - (boy might have stepped in it that time hehe sorry)
We (Christians) sort of took the short cut - we came in under the covenant made within God from the foundations of the earth and we are party to it only because we are in Christ (He was the primary party - we would be that "in His loins" thing), His body from another line of posting here.... We come apart from the Law/Covenants directly through Jesus Christ our Lord. And I for one and very thankful.
Sorry the "New Covenant" discussed in the OT.... well read it, then read the posts on this board and tell me you see the unity it promises? It doesn't indicate that all will be left to their own opinion in a fallen evil world.... that is what we see today so you can't convince me this is all that is promised nor that we are under the New Covenant.
The titles of OT and NT are divisions placed by man and do not represent 2 covenants as there are more than 2 mentioned in Scripture.
In Christ

Hi Windy , The way that I see it the Old Testament end at Acts 28:28 , and you willn otice that the Temple is destroyed along with it Priesthood and that is why I don't believe in priest for the Body of Christ , unless you believe in Apostlic Seccession .
1) Then Paul begins his ministry , and that is what is called the Gospel of the Grace of God , in Acts 20:24 . This is what is called the Dispensation of the Grace of God in Eph 3:1-9 .
2) The New Covenant will begin as Israel begins the Millennium and 1000 reign of Christ . The New Covenant is mentioned in Hebrews 8 and in Jer 31:31 and IN A FEW OTHER PLACES , LIKE EZEK 36 .
3) There is a difference between The Grace of God that Paul preached , that was HID in God Eph 3:9 and there are more verses .
4 ) Then there is there is the PROPHESIED Grace that 1 Peter 1:10 , speaks about and v11 , lets everyone know that it was NOT HIDDEN . Any word study of the Greek word CHARIS , wiil see that Paul WAS THE only one to write and speak about the Grace of God .
