I dont think everyone will be saved only those who have the testamony of Christ.
the bible says that the beast and the false prophet will be captured and thrown into the lake of fire, the same lake where people who's names have not been written in the book of life go. The names of those in the book of life, have been in there since before jesus was crucified. He said to his disciples. 'Do not rejoice that the demons dance to your tune..but be happy that your names are written in the book'. Which is why salvation is not our choice, but rather gods choice.
If there are people are going to the lake of fire...this lake is also called the lake of burning sulphur.
We know that atoms cannot be destroyed. (Well i guess unless God destroys it completely and makes it dissapear)
One way to make a tree dissapear, is to burn it. The ashes does not look like the tree, but the ashes and the air, have recieved the mass of atoms that was originally in the tree.
So the lake of burning sulphur is a place where stuff go from a 'tree' to ashes.
But metals dont get burned up...they only melt. We are likened to metal in the bible, and the world is likened to stuff that can be consumed. So the all consuming fire of god purifies us from dross, and we come forth as pure metal, but the world is consumed.
But what about the spirits of the people in their bodies? Where do they go? To a lake of fire. What kind of pain can a spirit feel? If we had the answer to that question we would understand how the lake of fire, can be torture.
