Default Believers! We are the "rapture" generation.

Believers! We are the "rapture" generation the generation that will never die==Mat 24:32 "Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near.

Mat 24:33 In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door.

Mat 24:34 I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place.
The signs of the end days Jesus named to look for just before His return are all here today. Jesus says we will not know the hour or day of His return but He command that we believers know when He is at the door. Are you ready to meet Jesus?

Is this when Jesus said he would return before all the people he was talking to had died?

Again, I'm a bit vague on the precise chapter and verse, but are the signs to look for the earthquakes and wars?

true we are living in the last days, we can see this by things actions of the world ,(people). And it'll be in our generation in which the end will come, the day NO human knows. But Jesus gave his followers signs in which to look for. Many our our generation will NOT see death when the end come, but many WILL! Jesus told us this when he compared us to the days of Noah , (Luke 17:26,27,30 and Rev. 6:14-17). People need to understand Jesus concerning “returning”. He didn't mean he would return in the way he could be seen. At (John 14:19 ), NOTICE he said “ the world will see me NO MORE ”. Also see (Acts 1:9-11), Jesus was referring to ONLY those with the Heavenly calling. they would be with and see him again in Heaven. John here at (Rev. 7:1), wasn't referring to a literal cloud.

Notice Levi. 16:2 Jehovah God ,( Exo. 6:3), said he would appear in a “ cloud ”on top of the ark. He wouldn't actually be sitting on the ark, The cloud just meant his presence. Arron would KNOW Jehovah in spirit would be there. (Acts 13:34,35) shows Jesus won't come back in a physical body, and never again to this earth. “ every eye ”, didn't mean the literal eye. But Jesus TRUE followers would know he's present by the actions of the world. They will see him with their mental eyes. As for the “rapture”, MANY are taught (1Thess. 4:17 ), means exactly that, it doesn't! First Paul was referring to their christian brothers who died. Saying that they would rise again after Jesus did. and they were already in Heaven with Jesus. Jesus IS HERE NOW, his attention is towards his followers leading them.

remember what he told his Apostles concerning "teaching and baptizing the nation" ,(Matt. 28:19,20 " and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world "). though they are ALL dead and in Heaven. this STILL applies to the rest today who will be in Heaven with him. he's with them helpinh them through Jehovah God's HS. and his followers today will HAVE TO DIE, before they inter Heaven, Jesus did ,(Rom. 6:3-5).. JUST as ALL of Jesus and Jehovah past people. MANY believe all those who died BEFORE Jesus went straight to Heaven. NOT true, NO man could enter Heaven UNTIL Jesus died as an obedient human, then Jehovah God by means of his HS, resurrected him ,(John 8:11).

they were “asleep” in their graves awaiting Jesus ,(Matt. 27:50-53 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent. And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose. And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many). The ONLY difference now, is that those dying AFTER Jesus resurrected. Won't have to wait in their graves as their past brothers. They will instantly from death become spirit beings and enter Heaven to be with Jesus. peace

Daniel also gave us a sign by which we can recognize that the end is near.
But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.
(Daniel 12:4 ESV)

Almost everyone acknowledges that we are experiencing an information explosion in which knowledge is increasing at a faster rate than it ever has in the past. We also have access to faster and cheaper methods of transportation that we ever did before.

We also now have the technology necessary to fulfill some prophecies. For example, television and communication satellites will make it possible for everyone to see the bodies of the two witnesses as Revelation 11 predicts. And the fact that financial transactions can be computerized and the need for cash eliminated will enable the beast to prevent anyone without the mark from buying or selling.

I pray that your faith is not hanging on the rapture of souls since it appears that "laying down one's life for his brother" sets the tone for our faith much greater then flying up out of here. That and the Beatitudes.

There are some wisdom to what you are saying, to wish for the rapture without doing anything like living and sharing the gospel, etc. is not right. But when one keep sharing the gospel but no one listen anymore then probably alright to wish for the rapture.

Christians in other countries suffering for Jesus Christ (as opposed to suffering because of one's sin) completely baffles many of the American Christians and collides headlong with 1 Peter 4:12-19.
Believing God will bail us out when things are hard will cause many to forsake Him.

Again you have some points, American Christians (most) have not experienced suffering in other countries. But missionaries from America experienced it. Christians are not exempt from sufferings or tribulation but i believe Christians will be taken out before the great tribulation.

Most Christians in America live in cities where food are brought in from outside the cities. Tribulation may occur that the Antichrist will use financial and food distribution as controlling points. Remember the prophecy that no one can buy or sell except one has the mark of the beast. Because US is advanced technologically, this mark may be implemented first in US or other advanced countries. Other Christian in other countries may survive in the mountains but I believe they will be raptured before the great tribulation.
